I had call from this number today.  It rang 5 times then hung up.  I also had a call from them yesterday and spoke to some Indian guy.  They asked if the home owner was available and I said no.  They then asked if I was family member and I said no, I was just a friend.  The call centre agent then hung up with warning.  It was kind of spooky.

Just got a call from this number today, rung once and just rung off. got it as a missed call a few days ago and a day or so before my wife answered and she was asked if she was Mrs (my name) and then when she confirmed was asked to take part in a survey, she refused and hung up.

Got similar calls a couple of months ago.

Interestingly we never got these calls before we moved to Sky Talk in February.

Does anyone else who has problems with this number also use Sky for their phonecalls?

They've been called me these past few days, a couple times a day, also using 06468451880, based on the above I haven't picked up - perhaps the only way to stop it is to pick up and supply disinformation to their database - anybody work in a call centre know any good tricks to annoy the call caller and get them to mark your number as not-worth-the-trouble ;)

Two years on and these scumbags are still at it again ringing with a faked CLI but this time of 08844 511237.  The call centre commissioned is now based in the Phillippinnes but the script and the things they say they want to do research about are the same as The Lifestyle Research Centre or National Consumer Research Centre and the scam is the same as before.

There is a UK company that is known to be behind these calls called Phruit Ltd (www.phruit.co.uk) with a trading addess of The Barn, Huddlestones Wharf, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG24 4UL and a registered company number of 05532899 with an address at Barnby House, Barnby Gate, Newark, Nottinghamshire, NG24 1PZ.  Make sure to report them using these address details to www.tpsonline.org.uk and www.consumerdirect.gov.uk

Just had a new overseas team operating the same sting but now under the name of Global Equity News of pretending to do a market research survey asking about the state of the economy and then whether you hold any investments or have bought any recently,

From his accent and my previous dealings with Be Unlimited the caller was clearly Bulgarian and I could hear that other callers in the same call centre next to him were also Bulgarian.  When I challenged him that weren''t they going to sell my data to people who would call me about Carbon Equities, Rare Earth Metals and Fine WInes as investments he denied it but in such a way that it was obvious it was true and he knew the games was up.

In this case the number was just straightforward Internatiional/Unavailable rather than a faked UK telephone number.  If you get a call from Global Equity News do not complete the survey or you will be pestered with calls from numerous different variants of the Boiler House investments scam.

I have been receiving phone calls from an Indian call centre stating they are from Consumer Research, they then reel off all my personal data. This has been going on for a few months now, and it came to a head last week when I told the person, quite politely, that I am not interested. With that I was called a F*****g son of a [***], a white M*******r F***********r, and a few other variations. When I challenged this, they hung up. They had the cheek to call back a few days later. I now I am receiving a lot of silent calls, all these are from a withheld number. Anyone now how to report them or at least block the numbers?
