- Nikki| 36 repliesi work for pound saver and its not a scam if any of yous had the decentsy to call our customer service number.!! Get a life and stop blaming our company for your stupid [removed:lang] mastakes. Get a life and grow up. We are Northern Irish by the way!!!!!
- delenn123| 1 replyI too was charged £89.95 as an unauthorised amount taken from my account. I phoned the company and they have have refunded this amount back to me (well, they said they have!) so I shall be checking with my bank in the next week to make sure they have done so
- pooshaqu| 1 replyOh and concerning some of the above extremely rude comments posted, I'm quite sure a 30 day free trial was mentioned but no-where was it mentioned that £89.95 would be automatically debited from peoples accounts at the end of that period. No-one in their right minds would agree to that
- James| 18 repliesThis isn't a scam. My name is James and i work for customer services in Northern Ireland. The club is offered when you ring up on certain shopping channels to buy something, and you are given it free for 30 days.If you do not cancel, you become a full member and therefore pay a full membership fee.
If a pack does not turn up in the post, that isn't the companys problem. that's poor service with royal mail, and thier fault. I'm sure the cause of most people's grief here has been self-inflicted, due to not reading corespondance sent out and therefore not being in the know. We are however, aware, that pitchwell TV have been signing people up without concent, this however, is pitchwell TV trying to achieve better sales targets, nothing to do with us. We are always more than happy to help if you call in, but there has been many unfair comments raised on this website.I hope this sheds some light on the situation for you all, and i advise you all to hold your tongues and self evaluate, before being so quick to criticize. - Adriani have hd money taken from my account, them adn Classic Living are in the same office and 2 people seem to be the membership dept.
I contacted my bank and they are writing to them and i have spoken to these people who say they will refund my money, which will take 5-7 working days...
Has anyone contacted a company called ' Zestify'? they are connected...
They are a f*** joke and rip off...- Caller: i called them
- jeanieNikki's comment on the 10.02.10 just about sums up the company he/she works for!!!
WHO THE HELL WANTS THEIR RUBBISH VOUCHERS.
If the vouchers were any good, Pound Saver would not have too tag them onto Pitch TV, they would have their own site. Also, why do you have to cancel the "30 day trial period", when you have never authorised it? What A Con. Lastly if their company was legitimate why was this site so hard to find?
How many other people has this happened too who are unaware of this site? - Lyn replies to j| 2 repliesHi, I have also had £89.95 taken from my credit card account and the credit card company will not do anything about it until I confirm with Pound Saver but you cannot get hold of them,THEY ARE THEIVES
What do I do ???? - Lyn replies to LynI did read the small print and imeadiatelly rand up and cancelled BUT they still took the £89.85
- Lynne| 1 replyI found out yesterday that they had done the same to me, £99.95 and £1.60 for an information pack that I never received. Their customer service department was helpful, said they would refund £99.95 only. Apparently they took the same value last year when my Dad was seriously ill in hospital. Have been advised to write to their management for a refund of that but can not find Pound Saver as a Limited company. Is anyone contacting Watchdog??
- margaret forsterHad letter from bank about 89.95 coming out of account by poundsaver, never signed or agreed to anything, poundsaver is a SCAM and take peoples money, Im a pensioner and cannot afford this, this company wants closed down and the staff sacked as they are thieves
- mikePoundSaver took 2 payements of £99.95 and £1.60 from my account without my permission.
I have rang the company, they said it was because i brought something off JML Direct shopping channel but that was over 4 years ago. They said that they will refund the money within 5-7 days.
If they don't i will report them to watchdog. - CarolI have had two amounts taken from my account 1.60 and 99.95, I immediately phoned my bank as I knew I had not made the purchases. As it turned out they took the payments when My card was about to expire. My new card arrived and I cut up the old card although it did not run out until the end of March. I used the new card on the day it arrived so the bank should have deactivated the old one. When asked the bank didn't have an answer, if they had done the job then the theives would would not have been able to take MY MONEY. Although the bank says they will repay me, it should not have been able to have. This scam has been happening for years if you look at the replys on this site, how come they are still getting away with it!!!!!

- Carol replies to Nikki| 1 replyReading all these replys I now know who these theives are. I ordered two Items from "pitch TV" and I was asked if I wanted the pack of free vouchers and as I am HOUSE BOUND I said NO!!!!! I was then told "but it is free" and I again said NO as I really don't think I would have any need for your pack. SO HOW COME THEY STILL TOOK THE MONEY OUT OF MY ACCOUNT WITH OUT MY PERMISSION!!!! So it appears the mistake was made by your F****** company and not ME, that certainly sound like a scam to me and I imagine to every one on this site, who have been done out of their money.
Did you read the reply from the guy who is on a boat spending the money he had taken from everyone, and even says that it was a great SCAM!!!! - chrissie replies to CarolI like most have had an amount of £99.95 plus £1.60 taken from my account not once but twice. I queried this in june 09 an the bank looked into this but with not much of a result only to keep asking me had i signed up for anything, obviously i had not. I finally got a phone number for this poundsaver co which i rang they werenot very helpful and incidently i was given the phone number yes guess 0800-1077333. i strongly protested that i dont use tv shopping channels and demanded to know where they had got my debit card details from.the girl told me she would get somebody to ring me back. .. A guy rang me back i question him as to why this money was taken from my account without my permission or knowledge as i did not sign or subscribe to anything. He replied that i had bought an item on shopping channel and was offered a discount deal.. i asked him what shopping channel was it and he said PITCH TV. i TOLD HIM I DONT EVEN HAVE FREEVIEW OR SKY CHANNELS, im no further on but i have luckily cancelled my debit card and the bank arent going to refund me. so thanks poundsaver!
- chrissie| 1 replyI would also like to say that the number the person rang me back from poundsaver was 02891-286955 which turns out to be a number in Bangor n.ireland yet the address i got for poundsaver is in london..this phone number if you SEARCH is another scam;; the guy said he would refund me an wanted my card details i asked that he refund by cheque to an address but he refused so there was NO WAY i was giving my details to fall for this again..I thought that maybe the bank would have met me half way an refunded me even with one of the transactions. Does anybody have any advice on what i should do next i would be very obliged for your help.

- from N.I replies to NikkiYour no more from N Ireland than eskimos are. People from N .Ireland know how to spell... You sound foreign which probably explains just exactly who maybe are behind such a scam??
- N DubeThese people have also scammed us of £89.95. We just realised the money had come out of our account without our knowledge. we dont even know what the money is for. I have reported this scam to my bank and im hoping they refund us our money. What a bogus company.
- Jayne| 1 replyMy husband has just checked his bank statement and yes youve guessed it £1.60 and then the £99.95 taken out by Pound saver! He did have some CDs off the TV about 2 years ago but no mention of vouchers or anything like that, and who indeed in their right mind pays for these vouchers. He has reported it to the bank (barclays) they are now investigating and say he should get his money back. Has anyone managed to get their money back? He is now checking ALL his bank statements and has found another one £1.60 followed by £49.95 by Classic Living! This is really horrible and although they are not fast amounts its very distressing when youve only just got enough to pay the mortgage (and sometimes we dont) So who ever you are you should be ashamed of yourselves and if you are on a boat somewhere in the bahamas I hope it sinks!

- Wrecking Ball| 4 repliesScam or not, perhaps you people should understand that you get nothing in life for FREE!! If pitchwell are sending out the membership packs without permission then it is THAT company which is committing fraud. I`m sure it is definately being looked into. However anyone who hasn't ordered something of pitchwell should maybe listen when something is offered to them before accepting it.I don't even work for poundsaver but i know a lot of members who are very happy with the club! And lol at pieman in his boat cruising off with all your money.
