Heres another number that rings alot. When i answer the phone there is a pause then they hang up. I expect its so i ring back at probably £25 per minute..
I just got a phone call from these guys, i picked it up and it started ringing as if i had called them. i hung up straight away, i'd strongly suggest you'd do the same
got call 5 mins ago asnswered and line went dead rang bt nuisance calls as im signed up for TPS they said not all companies registered for TPS. Ring no to see who it was as didnt come up on net when i put no in. Said I would not be charged for call. It was 2TOUCH a prestige company acting for BT EDF and other prestige companies !!!!!!!!!!! If it is for BT why when im registered TPS. Does anyone know for sure what they want
These types of calls are obviously from dodgy companies, do what I did and just hang up better yet do what I do, I don't answer my phone if I don't recognise the number that's calling me.
They have rung me 3 times in the last ten minutes! I've googles the number and found out it was one of these call bacl ones - how can I make it stop? They did this about 6 months ago up to 10 times a day. I run a business and this is getting really tiresome.
I have had 4 calls today from 08004082680 and each time have hung up. They then called again tonight I was quite rude really. She said she was calling on behalf of BT and wanted to talk to me about my landline, when I asked where she was from she advised that she doesnt have to give that info. Itold her i was p***** off with the silent calls I had today and unless she disclosed where she was from they I wasn't disclosing any info. Guess what she terminated call so hopefully will stop calls. I have spoken to BT and they do all sales and surveys themselves so was not working on their behalf. I suggest to just advise that you will give no details until they advise who they are and where they are from and ref code for the call to which they will probably hang up. Hope this helps.
Literally just had a call from this number. Live Person on the other end.conversation went as follows......
THEM:Is that Mr ******, BT have awarded you some free calls ME: Right ok THEM who is it who supplies you phone calls ME: what do you mean? THEM: who is you phone provider with ME:Ummmm BT THEM: so BT already supply your calls ME: ummm yes THEM: oh ok,thankyou, bye.
And that was it.Have no clue what it was about but telling them i was already with BT seemed to get rid of them :) I urge you to do the same if they call :)
this phone number keeps ringing me three or four times a day.i am getting reallly fed up with it.i don't answer the phone, lets hope they get the message soon and quit calling me.
These people keep calling my number and asking for Mr, Mrs or Miss Sapsford - keep telling them don't know these people but still they phone time and time again
Was on my mobile when landline went so I couldn't answer. I 1471'd and it said it was this number. Time was about 1507hrs. We are registered with the TPS.
Three calls today each time no one answers. Getting to be a damned nuisance. Can't anyone stop this company from doing this? I'm going to send them a strongly worded email and see if that does the trick.
Despite being registered with TPS and Silent Call Guard had silent call from this number. Rang the number given by Kerry 8th July who confirmed that they make marketing calls on behalf of other companies. Have previously been subjected to a constant barrage of silent calls and the only solution was to make a complaint of harrassment at my local police station, who were very supportive. Its wonderful how quickly the calls stopped following a call from my local police. Maybe worth a try - anything is better than these continuous silent calls.
This number has phoned for the past 5 days and guess what no answer. I have just reported it to OFcom who are the Office for communication who will take action agianst this company providing they have a suitable number of complaints so if you want this to stop then contact ofcom and make a complaint!!!!
