This company has called my number about 10 tim es now but when I answer they seem to hang up

They are a pain

We have received numerour calls with regards to this and we have now reported this matter to the Office of Fair Trading and the Credit Services Association. We suggest any complaints are directed to the Office of Fair Trading.

We have had a number of phone calls from this organisation.  I believe that they have got hold of our number by illegal means.  We are careful about who we give our number to and never give permission for it to be used in this way.

I advised the last caller that I believed they were acting illegally and that I was going to report them to the FSA.  I have not had a call since.

I'm thinking Taffy could be on to a good thing. I'll have to ask an Indian friend for the same thing. It's the only laugh I've had regarding all this business.

This number has called about 5 times today and I've been ignoring it, looked up on here and saw who it was; last time they rang I put the music channel and held the phone to it..they haven't rang since..yet!! So f**king annoying!!

I've just had a call from this number. I have no idea how they got my number as I too am ex directory and TPS registered. It was a chap with an Indian accent, and I told him I wasn't interested and put the phone down. If they call back I think I will play some of my Iron Maiden cds really loud.

Needless to say I'm on TPS etc. The operator was good enough to hand me over to a supervisor, but didn't get anymore info out of them.

its the same Team that were working earlier this year, based in India, then on an 0301 number offering a Government based debt service.

They just called while we were having dinner so it didn't get answered! Thanks to all these comments I now know it wasn't worth answering in the first place, sure they will call back though. I am also on TPS!

I receive up to 5 calls a day from 'debt advice bureau' or 'crystal debt advisory'. I made up some details today and was finally passed to a UK individual working for Churchwood Finance in Stockport.

I suggest everyone complains to Churchwood Finance (0800 2800 051) and get these annoying calls stopped.

We've been getting calls from this number.  Tonight I finally got my husband to answer the phone but pretend to just a be a friend.  They said they were conducting a government survey and had to speak to the homeowner.  We just said that "we" didn't know when the homeowners would be home.  Wouldn't give a company name when asked several times for it!  My husband has also been getting up to 12 calls a day on his mobile from a with-held number, no messages.  He has switched the phone to silent but it's a real pain in the proverbial!!

I have started getting calls from this number over the past 2 days.  I'm already in an IVA and done it through the correct channels, I would never have gone with one of these companies they're just scammers.  Interestingly I had an Indian lady rather than a man, I just said I wasn't interested and put the phone down but I know if it continues I will start shouting because I've had so many companies like this calling about the same thing in the past.  Something really needs to be done to stop it.

They called again this morning, I answered after I recognised the number, but just got silence.

This company have just started ringing me, I was suspicious of them as I spoke to someone I couldn't understand and they kept asking me to speak to different colleagues of theres. I really hope I don't start getting harrased like other people in these comments!

I am being harassed by this number too.

I am actually on the phone with this company who claim to be crystal debt advisory. They have me on hold at the moment. I asked if they are a registered company and they told me they was so i asked for a registration number which aparently they cannot give me. They have called me about 10 times within the past 24Hrs asking for someone who doesnt even live at my address. I asked where they got my number from and they said from a commertialy available database. I have asked them to take me off of whatever database they got my number from and not to call me again. With any luck this will be the end of it. The time now is 10.28am

Called me today at work.  Person came on, I can assume he was trying to speak but it was unintelligable to me so I hung up.

This company has now taken to calling me at work, I have asked then not to do this but they still ring at the same time each day, apart from being an ivasion of privacy it is also embarrasing.

This idioy rang just now, I have had three calls today so far, none of which 1471 could actually submit any number , that is until this one! I did answer but I gave them the silent treatment, he just said hello hello hello (sounded Indian)and then he hung up
