Received a call from 0845 026 4628, when I try to dial it I get cut off, any ideas who it is?

Just got a call from this number saying they are the "Vodafone upgrade centre". I have a feeling that it may well be Phones 4 You masquerading as Vodafone because I've been ignoring calls from P4U about an upgrade for three weeks now.

This company is very insistent and have phoned me at 100 times over the last 3 weeks - I have ignored their calls as I don't answer numbers I don't recognise.  They are very intrusive and this sort of cold calling shouldn't be allowed!!

they called today and i answered but didnt speak as i do not answer numbers i dont know,and the bloke started slaggin me off for pickin up and not speaking!!!!! networks shud not give out your mobile number to call centres,if i want to upgrade.....ILL CALL THEM!!!!

Yep, I keep being called by this number and when you call back it just cuts off.
They are starting to drive me mad as I'm getting about 10 calls a day. I'm just thankful for meeting mode.

i have had this number ringing me so many times and it is driving me mad!
for around 3weeks i had the number: 08450264331 calling me non stop. After not answering these calls i now have this number ringing me non stop !

phones 4 u have been texting me for about 2 weeks to get an upgrade and get £150 cashback.... its like being stalked!! they keep texting me saying you havent taken up this offer grrrr! maybe because I DONT WANT TO!! then theyve just rang me but i didnt know who it was, i said hello twice (with my daughter crying in the background) and they ignored me. theyre starting to get on my nerves! cant wait for my contract to run out

They've been clling me too. I just ignore them cos My phone is on silent most of the time anyway. Maybe they will just get bored and stop.

after reading everyones comments they are pretty much identical to me! i don't answer unknown numbers and now i am aware itz phones 4 u buggin me for the pat fortnight, i shall not be answering them and i shall not be re-newing my contract. surely a politer way of treating their customers would be to leave an aswerphne message to say "its phones 4u wondering if your are interested *in whatever* and if you don't respond to this call then we will assume you are not interested..." would be much more staisfactory than all the text messages "£200 cashback" the repetative phone calls etc they need to sort it out. All they want is money and they don't care who the anger in the process.

This number has been calling me everyday for the past week or so. I never answer it. I am glad to find this site and to get some help on the origin which appears to be Phones4U. I have never had any dealings with this company so they really are cold calling with some determination. I am going to complain to their Head Office about these calls (my number is regestered with the blocking service) and see what they say.

Have had many phone call from this number ever since I got a new contract with Vodafone. I am contemplating getting rid of Vodafone as they must sell their number to a number of companies as I receive hoax phones calls once or twice a day and it is making me mad. I never had this problem with 02!

These guys are taking the michael, they havse called me about 10 times a day for about 2 weeks,  I never answer and thought they may give up but no.

they called me and beleive it or not, I agreed, nothing on my contract changed, they have just given me a new phone 2 months early, there not as bad as your making out to be, ususaly I would just hang up on a sales person, but every phone Ive had for the last 5 year Ive gotten from Phones 4 U and I completely trust them
