Got a call from this number at 3.19pm today, couldn't get to the phone in time to answer. They did me the honour of shouting down the phone and leaving me some euro disco to listen to via a premium rate answering service - the [***] !

this number rings me all the time and i believe it to be littlewoods. Noone ever speaks or if they do they say the same thing as the people who rang before. Trying to sell me insurance or to spread my payments across 3 years. Although i have said no they continue to call but sometimes dont speak. The annoying thing is my bill came from littlewoods the other day and i have been charged 12 pounds because they rang me. Which does not make sense bad enough i get charged about 7 pound when i ring them but im also being charged for them to ring me. Stupid!

I've had two calls in less than an hour tonight and both times no one there when I answered. Tried calling them back but get the message that the number is temporarily out of service. Same message Rob got on 22/07/08. Very annoying.

How can you assume the calls are chasing an unpaid account? They could be from anyone. How can someone speak to them if the line is dead when the call is answered or ring them back, thanks to caller display and get the "out of service" message.

I agree.  I too have had these calls from this number 08452930000 and also from 08452930008.  So I know that they are shopping direct or whatever they call themselves. (littlewoods, very and additions).

I am up to date with everything with them as I do everything online.  I have accounts with all 3 and have one item which I begin to pay for in May. Someone is correct when they said that they are trying to sell insurance and the option to spread your payments over 3 years.

Im sick of these calls!!!!  I just press the big red button :-)  They can call as much as they like - I still wont answer. How many times do you need to say no ffs!! - I have also stated before to all these companies that I do not wish them to contact me! waste of time.

I have received 2 of these calls in the last 24 hours and several more over the last few days. The problem is I have a brand new contract phone with a new number and it's in my partners name. He has never had any dealings with a catalogue and neither have I so we don't know why they are contacting us. It's very annoying as I have twin baby girls and don't need them being woken up all the time. There should be some kind of rules in place to stop this from happening.

i have just received my 1st call 2day at 1:20pm. luckily i was workin. i have no involvment wiv catalogues and i have never brought n e thin from catalogues. i either buy from ebay or amazon n neither site has my number! if this carries on i can see me gettin rather annoyed and shall try n get the number blocked

That's not true about owing the company money! I don't have an account with them or owe them money. In fact this is a brand new phone and number, so they must be randomly generated numbers. And I have still received a call from them. Annoying :o(

I just had a call today. A brand new contract phone with O2.
Not even made a call with it yet or anything. Luckily i missed the call hope thats the end of it.
Bit strange how the number got out and if its a dodgy sales centre then maybe i should have a word with my phone provider!

I found out that this number is from a consumer company called C.A.G.08452930002.  They keep pestering me with silent calls but i did speak once and they asked me if id been £2000 in debt in the last 10yrs.  I told them i had not but was told i needed debt help as i had come up on their data screen!  It is so annoying to be pestered by these people!

got a call at 3 30 am asking if i would accept the charges thinking it was my grand children i agreed
only to hear 3 voices arguing effing and blinding then they hung up who are these aresholes

I had this number call me today, new phone and new number. Haven't given it to any companies. I do not have An account with anyone but o2. I hate theses calls

This number called me today at 14:58 on a phone i have only had a week. Have given the number to any companies only friedns and family.

Interesting - i just had a call and i have just taken out a new contract and phone with O2. Not happy!

I just received a call from this number & I answered and spoke to them. It IS O2  or at least O2 are currently using this number/call centre. Knew all my O2 account details and were offering me an iPhone4 - which I had put my name down for & only O2 would have known that.

If you get called by this number soon after getting new o2 contract I'd contact ofcom. Someone is breaking the data protection act. It's happened to me on both occasions I've upgraded.

I missed a call from the number (08452930000) I know it must be some sort of phoney things as only had the phone 2 days........ .. after looking at this website will not be calling the number back

I got a call from this number today, i have no idea how they got my number as it is a new contract, only days old and no1 has my number yet nor have i registered it for any online shopping accounts.

I got a missed call from this number today. I stupidly called it back and got the 'this number is currently unavailable' message. No doubt that'll appear on my monthly bill.

Interesting how there seems to be a pattern here of people who are on O2. I am also with O2 and never give this number out to anyone except friends and work associates.

Well I don't have any catalogues or on-line accounts for clothing or anything else, and find these calls very annoying, I also about two minutes (co-incidence - me thinks not) received a call from 0845 863 0287 and I am also on O2.  I have had both my home number and mobile number registered with telephone prefernce service for many years and yet still get plaqued with these calls
