My 11 year old son just got home to find out he has just had £50 knocked off his xmas present list!

He now feels rather stupid but it really not to blame and I will be contacting Habbo who I feel should be held responsible for something on their website that makes their young users think it is free when it is a pure scam.

My daughter has just admitted to phoning this number and so far its cost £50.00 but next months bill still to follow. the website except no responsibility but do say that calls are blocked after they exceed the £25 limit but my daughter used over that in 4 days so how does that work? I've queried this but they have failed to respond so far.

i just got my bill too and my son rang 10 times in 3 days.  why do they let kids use that premium phone i think this is illegal and they should be closed down. my son is only 10. has anyone managed to speak to these [***] yet

i have just discovered this problem after viewing my latest phone bill my son has cranked £50 worth in the last month i am furious. i have emailed habbo and await there reply this is an issue that needs to be sorted and bought to the attention of trading standards or someone i myself will be contacting them first thing and will take this matter further. wether it is directly habbo's fault or not it is happening through their website so they need to do something about it or it should be shut down. My son had no idea

I did contact Habbo & their get out clause is that I should be a more responsible parent & there are plenty of warnings on line & when they make the phone calls. After a while Habbo just failed to respond.

Hey an cheater who want´s money from habbo (09056 575575) he/ she will ask ur habbo code and he/ she "doubles" the money, lol don´t call there.
P.S Theres blacklist softwares to mobile phone and u can set the numbers what can´t call to u :D

Just got the same. My 12yr old son. Its only £30 but thats a lot to me and my wife. Very angry about this site. They must have loads of kids doing the same and they must be lol. Trouble is these days no-one sticks together as in power in numbers. I started a web site just for things like this called wreckmyhead.com. Unfortunately, I have not had time to finish it and meanwhile the forum has been overtaken by spammers. However, I will be getting it reset and spending some time setting out exactly what the sites about. Anyway keep the site in mind and give it a visit in a few weeks when its running properly. The more people complain about the same and similar scams  the better.

I received three calls but although I did not call back still it charged a total of £5.41 for four minutes. I don't know what can be done about these type of calls.

okay so you're stupid 1900-528-6005 is the generic number on habbo hotel to get coins. each account has its code (like mine is 294 755 26) and that code gives coins to the specific account number.
