i'm receiving calls at all hours of the day.  One time only i did speak to some one with a heavy accent and could not understand. Now caller never leaves a message or no one at the other end.  

This needs to stop!

For the past 3 weeks I have been getting calls from this number at all random hours of the day. I do not answer numbers I don't know so I have been receiving many voicemails from a man with a very strong indian accent. He talks about a "very important matter" and he is "waiting for my call" with the message always flagged at urgent. You would think if it was buisness matters as important as he claims he would let you know what it is about and who he is with.... I just want it to stop!!

This is some type of Indian boiler room operation that is likely a scam.  They somehow get proprietary collections information in an attempt to "collect" on accounts that aren't theirs.  They have called at all hours of the day and have harassed relatives that have nothing to do with my personal business.  As far as I can tell they are breaking every law in the book on collections protocol which is why I believe that they can only be a scam.

A Mid-Eastern woman called. hard to understand. She wanted to talk to Robert who I told her wasn't here. She said she was with Global Vantage, I think (hard to understand). Never heard of Global Vantage till this call.  I hung up on her.

These people call every couple weeks asking for "Charles Smith" and refuse my requests to stop.

These people call every other day.  A heavy India speaking guy demands that I call back by 9pm.  This is the first time they have left a message I never answer the phone if I do not know the number.

They have been calling my house 4 or 5 times a day. I get really pissed off and want to answer their call and cuss them out in English so that they get the message not to call,,,,,, BUT I didnt, and just ignor them, that is message enough.
Maybe we can find out how to put a block on their incoming calls.

A man in india called.  He said his name was Jack Stewart -Financial Advisor.  First he said he was in Massachusett, then after a few minutes of b.s. I asked him again where he was located, then he said he was in Rafael, CA.  (I don't think there is a Rafael in CA, I think he meant San Rafael).  After further questioning he admitted to be in India.  In the background, I heard people cheering, as if he was at a pub, watching soccer or something.  He said his company is called Global Vantage and left his number as 1-800-363-4816 x5088.  I let him know I will have the FBI contact him.  Maybe there is a common link between us, perhaps we all bank at the same place, or worked at the same company, or maybe we all use the same credit card company....  Anyways, whatever...

Another way to deal with them is to write to State Attorney General, Better Business Bureau in Larkspur, California, Donotcall.gov

I have gotten two phone calls the past two days at around 10 AM. No one leaves a message and I don't answer. It is frustrating.

This is the second time they've called...have not answered yet and will not...thank God for caller ID...I'm going to report them to the no call list...just reported one the other day...

calling and asking for me by my first name demanding I call my sister-in-law's older sister within the next five minutes.  very rude. arabic accent.

I've been getting calls from this number for the past month, several times a day, have refused to answer after first couple of calls.  Caller is East Indian, very rude and threatening.  Have reported calls, every time, to donotcall.gov.

I spoke to a gentle man with a very heavy accent. He was very forward but yet general with what he knew about collecting a debt from me. As if he were trying to get info from me that he could use. I gave very little to no info and after he put me on hold I hung up. Seemed like a scam to me considering I don't handle my financial accounts directly, I knew something was up!

I received this call a few times since yesterday. It is very annoying. Is there anything that we can do to stop this.

I get calls as early as 7:50am even on sundays and they call until 10pm. doesn't usually leave a msg and when he did I could not understand what he was saying and he doesn't say who the msg is for.

I get calls as early as 8:10am every day even on Sundays and they call until 9:00pm. don't usually leave a msg one day I counted 8 calls in one day no msg.

Call daily 2-4 times starting at 8:30 am. Usually ask for Mike with different last names. One caller was a woman with African American accent, however, mostly it is a man with Indian accent. I said no Mike lived here and asked them not to call me again especially at 8:30 am on weekends. They have kept calling me but now they are playing a recording which I never listen to till the end. If I do not pick up the phone they either leave no message or say one word "Hello".
I got my number very recently and I they have been calling me since day two or three. I never gave them my number and I know I have no business with them. I usually hang up on them but it is very annoying because they call at 8:30 am every single Saturday and Sunday.

I am wondering of there is a link between numbers # 877-866-8300 (Callerd ID: unknown)and 201-210-3618 (Caller ID: unavailable). I got my current number about a month ago and I registerd it with DONOTCALL.GOV These two are the only numbers that have been calling me daily. The 877-number leaves some non-sense messages. The 201-number started playing a recording after I told the "Indian" man that I was tired of him calling so many times after he had been told I was not the person he was looking for.

Funnily, today I got another call from the same number. This time is was a pleasent woman with perfect English (!), probably American and she askedr for a Nicole.

this is from a collection agency.  Global Vant-Edge.  i think they are based in India, which is why they have heavy accents
