When I picked up this call, just music was playing.. seemed very suspicious.
but this is legitimate number.
It is Microsoft (probly subsucription dept..)

I got a call May.27 3:33PM, but did not answer it. This was second time!!

It's Microsoft calling to renew my TechNet Plus account.

Confirmed, Microsoft attempting to renew my TechNet subscription

Called it was for Microsoft but caller ID BERTELSMAN MEDI the company that calls for MSDN or technet.

Left a lovely voicemail that only had clicking sounds.

Annoying little gimmick.  Multiple calls - no answer after 2 min listening to elevator music. Have sent in two emails to MS complaining. Got a response that it will be investigated (mentioned that if this was their sales tactic, then perhaps I would not renew...)

I just got a call from this number.  Elevator music played for a couple minutes then it disconnected.

Called me, nobody on the line but silence.  I hung up after saying 'hello, hello' a few times with no response.

I answered the phone and said hello a few times.  Ended up hanging up.

Technet, no kidding.  Thanks man.  I've been receiving a call every single day for the past 2 weeks.  My Technet expired last week.  LOL.

I had 2 calls from this number in the past week. The first time they got my voicemail, and the guy started talking, asking if he could speak to me. DUH! Today I answered and got only silence. This guarantees I won't renew my Technet sub.

Besides, Google gives me more accurate results when researching technical issues. At least it doesn't give me 200 MS Exchange articles to sift through when I'm researching a SQL Server issue.

It was technet & they reduced day keys halfway to da year to 5...while we paid & signed up for 10 last year...MS @ it again...

They called again and played music for me this time. I think I'll file a complaint with the CRTC.
