This number sent me videos to download and for three instances it has cost me £4.50 whilst trying to ascertain what it was. As far as I am concerned this is unsolicitated spam and a con. I unwittingly downloaded video "funnies" twice at £1.50 a shot but the original text appears to also have cost me £1.50 from "video service messaging" which is out of order. Others beware.

    19-Dec-10  18:09:00  700034851  -  Text service received  £1.50

The 18:09 was the original text received asking me to click on link. Foolishly I did.
The 18:10 was a text thanking me for downloading video.......To my knowledge I did not.
God knows what the 18:12 text was. I have no record on my phone.
My sent text was simply "STOP" to them that they at least acknowledged for free.

these people are serious crooks that the Regulator know about (and is turning a blind eye).  the problem is your Network is sharing the money with them.

I got a Media message on my phone which I opened in all innocence.  I closed it immediately when I realised It was on the internet - i only use my phone for calls and text messages.  when I checked my account I was charged £4.50.

This is a disgrace - someone is making a fortune out of this.  What can be done about it?

I received a text message from this number on 12 Dec 2010 and innocently opened it.  It said thank you for downloading etc.  Once I realised it was a scam I deleted it but now find I have to pay £4.80.  This is daylight robbery and I am going to report it to Ofcom and my provider.

Please advise me how I can reclaim my money that was stolen from me.

here's their freephone number for their so called 'customer care' department.  when I contacted them they at first tried to mislead me into thinking I was contacted an official consumer protection body.  they then became very rude and abusive.  Don't take any crap from these [***].

I have been charged 6x £1.50 text message, by these people. It's fraud, and should be investigated by the Police or Trading standards.
