Gooseberry Tech is a Sub Company of iHorse Techologies from Canada.

The infect computers as a marketing method, steal and resell credit cards, and build bot nets.

They will happily install software onto your computer, and empty your bank account.

Their company has a clean reputation... HOW?

I am shocked by the accusations here on this site. All the information is false! I founded the business and have been in IT fro 20+ years with great reputation. I even do work for Public companies. This is someone trying to discredit our reputation.

We supply under the Gooseberrytech.com banner remote back up and disaster recovery services. If a client does not have proper up to date antivirus software, we do supply Trend Micro 2012 antivirus free at our cost. Yes, it is an official version and this is for our protection of our backup servers from viruses client may have. We also are an official reseller of Google Apps to SMB and SOHO business.

We have less then 1% issues with new customers and 80% of our corporate business is repeat and referral.

I downloaded something on my computer yesterday after  a window pop-up saying there were critcal error, paid $81.  Then my computer shuts off and crashes.  Now I'm working with HP support who has to restage because it's so bad.  Today I get a call from someone who says they're from google gives and asks how my computer is running.  I asked for the phone number which was either 650-501-0334 or 800-501-0334.  This call was to my cell phone which not many people have my number but was the number I gave yesterday when I purchased this software.  


It is definitely a scam..

This was a call from Gooseberry, apparently a  canadian company related to iHorse, situated in Ontario, but having offices in California and in France (according to the man I talked to.)  This weird thing happened to me too: My computer was infected by a virus yesterday, pop-up windows telling me I needed to buy the latest version of an Antivirus (81$), I filled the form and the transaction didn't work.  They asked me for another number of credit card.  I cancelled my card and today, I got a phone call from Gooseberry, first in English, the woman was asking if I had trouble with my computer.  I asked for service in French, the man told me they called me randomly and that the woman used to be at the tech support department, that's why she asked me that...  Well, even if the gentleman was very nice, I don't think it's a reliable company !!!

Is this company safe to do business with?

I just had gotten my internet hooked up thru hughsnet on friday, i had gone without for a year due to finances. i didnt upgrade my antivirus before surfing the web and saturday my computer was loaded with viruses. Sunday i get a call asking how my computer is running from gooseberry. they charged me $199 to fix my computer. I first thought they worked with hughs net and had just called to check up and make sure all was ok. my computer is back up and running again but cant help but wonder how they knew to call me the day after my computer became infected. the # they called from was 650-204-4405

ya goosberry called me to about 6 times 3 i didnt answer one i did and the guy i could bearly understand said my computer had viresus adn need to be fixed and told me to go get my computer NOW so they could fix it. he said he would wait on the line till i got it on  i hung up. the next 2 times they called i keept trying to get info out of them like how did they get my cell number. also y were they calling me i dont have this goosberry on my computer nor have i ever heard of it bf. the guy kept mumbling and just saying get  computer and well fix it, i hung up. it is a scam they keep calling from diffrent numbers and if it wasnt yu would the same guy keep calling me  and when u ask them what thier company is and realy dose and other questoins  about thier company they repeat the name and just say we fix ur computer.adn also y would the caller get pissed and be disrespeactfull to the 1they called when they whant our money. i dont trust, i got a better chance sleading down mt. evreast and living then this ""goosberry"" viruse protection company not trying to scam/infect/steal my money adn identity.  i mean y is a company that i dont have insteald on my computer  at all calling me on a weekend telling me my computer is infected, and  then demanding i  turn it on so it can be fixed. makes alot of sence. DONT TRUST THEM AT ALL ITS BS,THEIR TRYING TO STEAL ALL UR PRIVET INFO OFF UR COMPUTER.

was 510 768-8586,how did they know? watch out!!!!!

Theyrip my cc off  I believe they callme to tell me. I need maintenance. On it that I must turn it on  so I will gave to log into to tgeir ream viewer id before they can control it by remote...
