- StevenThis company is not only rude but the Violate your rights under Fair Debt and Collection Practices Act. If you set up payment arrangements with these people and the checks are all for future dates the company by law has to send you a notice of intent to deposit. I complained to the Ohio Attorney General and the Attorney General for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on the company. NCB Management Services Inc. is headquartered in Pennsylvania and now the cases I have with the company are under investigation.

- Mr. Smith| 1 reply***Copy of body text in complaint letter to PA Attorney General***
Caller called my home phone, left message, and identified self as "Ms. Reed" looking for my ex-spouse (actually, just used her name XXXX). Said it was urgent and that there were some 'options'. Caller stated that I did not respond to her letters. Caller asked that I call her back at 800-828-1110 x 1855 and to reference my file # when I call back which was my phone number.
***Caller also called another relative of mine, not my ex-spouses, and left same message***
Once I called back, Ms. Reed asked who I was and I immediately asked that she identify herself since she called me first. She told me that she works for a company that deals with many 'contracts' and refused to tell me her company name, instead kept asking for my name and number which I did not immediately give to her. I advised that I have not been married for 5+ years to whom they were seeking and to stop calling me. I told Ms. Reed the name of my ex-spouse and she told me that she needs to speak with her and that "it's urgent." Ms. Reed advised that her 'research department' got my name and home telephone number. I asked that she never call me again and I gave her my home phone number and she then knew my name and address. I was advised that this matter did NOT involve me and ONLY my ex-wife.
The other relative that was called, my XXXX, called me within minutes of me hanging-up with Ms. Reed. Ms. Reed left the same message to which my relative called back after first calling me and asking why they were called by "National Credit" at dinner time. Ms. Reed was dismissive with my relative and said "Don't worry about it, we spoke with XXXX" to which my relative asked Ms. Reed to tell them who they were and why they were calling. Ms. Reed replied that it is a matter between my ex-spouse and them. My relative asked how they got their number, to which Ms. Reed replied "it's the 21st century!" Not satisfied, my relative asked again how they got in touch with them since the number is unlisted, isn't any longer a relative, and relative has a different last name. Ms. Reed repeated that "it's the 21st century!" and identified my relative by name, number, and address without my relative giving it to Ms. Reed. My relative asked to speak with a manager, and Ms. Reed said "fine, he's a Jewish Male and I'm African-American". My relative inquired what race had to do with this and asked for the manager AGAIN. My relative was then hung-up on.
This is a shady, deceptive way to collect debts by calling other previous known relatives and I want the calls to stop and inform you of the practices that this company in your state engages in. - emilie the debt negotiatoryou can send these companies a cease & desist letter by certified mail and they must stop calling you. You can tell your friends and family if anybody if the collection agencies call that they are not to call again. Your family and friends are used only to contact for a current number or address. If they give any information in regards to your delinquent account it is against the FDCPA and you can sue them for twice the amount that you owe.

- Non-Payers = Bad Economy!!!!!!!| 3 repliesWhen a debt collector calls you guys, Everyone one of you start out with,
"Well Have You Heard About The Economy" Let ME start out with, The economy is so bad because of all you people that have MERCEDES TASTE WITH A PINTO PAYCHECK.. If everyone paid back everything that they SIGN a contract for then
we wouldn't need bail outs, our jobs wouldn't go under, Why do you people insist on tryin to take down a company such as a collection agency that is put in place to help the economy... And YES, I am a debt collector.. I do my JOB. I hear every story out here, the only thing that greedy americans know are, getting something for NOTHING, always trying to live way above your means. Now that
all of you non-payers want to complain about the economy being so bad, just look into the mirror and say I done this to the USA, and EXPLAIN TO YOUR KIDS WHY THEIR FUTURE ISN'T SO BRIGHT ANYMORE!!!!!!!!
Non-Payers = Bad Economy!!!!!!!
Pay Your Bills & Stop Making Excuses!!!!! - Non-Payers = Bad Economy!!!!!!!| 1 replyAll you debtors try to run and hide behind debt settlement companies..
Let me explain this to you....
Google THIS >>>>> The Truth About Debt Settlement Companies <<<<<
There is so many settlement companies out here that say they can take all of your UNSECURED DEBTS and give you ONE SMALL PAYMENT!!!
They only do unsecured because if its secured then you will know its not being paid like they say. They send a letter telling your creditors to stop calling you its called
**Limited Power Of Attorny**
When your creditors get's this, it tells them that they will NOT be paid for atleast 2 or 3 years depending on how much money you are paying the settlement company, and how much the settlement company is charging you for fees..
So when they get this they take actions, meaning all you guys that signed contracts for your loans it clearly states,
DELINQUENCY.
Company shall have the right to pursue one or more of the following:
(i) demand and receive immediate payment from Merchant for such amounts,
(ii) terminate this Agreement,
(iii) retain any credits received relative to Sales Data, and
(iv) pursue ANY REMEDIES Company MAY HAVE AT LAW or IN EQUITY.
Company shall have the right to receive and setoff against all amounts paid by Card issuing banks in respect of Sales Data submitted by Merchant, in satisfaction of Merchant's obligations hereunder.
In other words if your contract says you can to sued, and your state allows
it, and the amount is $1000.00 or more, then guess what, You will probably end up infront of a judge explaining why you ignored all the phone calls when some one was trying to help you...
The debt settlement companies do the same thing you can do, No MORE No LESS
But they charge you fees.. So you end up paying $1500 to $3500 when you can save that money.. I understand that some collectors are ruff, but if you treat them right and be honest, trust me they WILL work with you.... "I DO" - JordanWow, now if "Non-Payers = Bad Economy!!!!!!!" isn't a dick..
- John| 2 repliesDear Mr dumb debt collector. Have you ever considered that perhaps you are not that wise? I was paying all my bills and maintained a good vredit rating for 35+ years. Then due to the economy (whoever's fault it is) My job was cut and so as my income. Forced to let a house foreclose that I had been keeping up with for 2+ years while trying to sell it in this wonderful ecoomy. Due to loss of income, I had stop paying credit cards in order to continue paying my current home.
Now I suppose you would say that I had more debtt o beginw ith than I should have? You can argue that back and forth as I was making all the payments and keeping up with all the bills until my loss of job. Mortgage company would not even work with me on the house I'd been supporting for 2+ years, no short sale offer, no reduced interet rate, nothing. CC Companies? I was 1 day late with one payment on a discover and they raised my interest rate form 8.9% to 24% overnight. Greedy [***], first one I cut off.
I've had many debt collectors calling obviously, all say "we want to help you" BS. You give us a couple of standard optons youa re reading form a manual. Pay half now, the balance in 2 months, or 1/3 now, etc. Well dumbass I dont ahve a job and cant pay you anything right now. you want to work with me? Then give me 6-12 months to get another job and start making money again, then get caught up. O, wait that was not an option and when i say that you get rude.
Think you would waive the late fees, over balance fees, high interest rates, etc? OS that we can start paying back on the actual debt? Doubt it. That owuld be working withus, not an option on your lsit though is it?
So wtf would you do when you lose your job tomorrow? Can I start calling you three days later and harrassing you and your family memebrs for money you dont have?
O, and feel free to sue me. I was making 180K per year, now I make 45K. No equity in my house as it was all used to try and lower the debt on the other one to try and sell it. Still no luck. Have a house foreclosed, poor credit rating now, and no equity. What do you think a judge will say? Sell my current house? go ahead, wont be anything left for you.
dumbass - Johnsee got me so flustered I couldn't even type right, lol. Hate these stupid debt colletors. "We are there to help you!" BS you are there to scare and intimidate people to collect high fees and interest for the company paying you to do it. You don't give rats [***] about the people involved and their real situations.
- anon13579 replies to Non-Payers = Bad Economy!!!!!!!(iv) pursue any remedies company may have at law or in equity.
Don't you mean pursue within the law you pos!!! - anon13579 replies to RWI got a call from Dennis Roberson. When I told him that I could not afford anything at the present. He told me that I should file bankruptcy. That statement sent me over the edge. If I could pay the debt, I would. there is no way in hell I will make arrangements with this [***]! I will contact the actual company when I am able to pay. I do not have any courtesy for these types when someone form this industry tries to use high pressure.P6D7
