Who does this # belong to?

This number called my house 4 times on 3/5/2008 and today  3/06/2008 they have called my number 2 times in a 2 hour time frame. it says they are from Kentucky. Who is this?

I just called it back and it says the line belongs to Citi Cards.

Call ID showed UNKNOWN NAME and the number 859-283-8073. When answered I got an immediate hang up. I called the number back and got an automated response from Citi-card.

I rec'd a call, the ID was 1 digit off from the one above and the recording was that I "reached the number in error. Please check it and call again."

I cancelled all three of my citibank cards at least a half year ago because I contested a charge, the company ["EXAM SERVICES" (everyone stay away!)] LIED through CONTRADICTING themselves in their communication and IDIOTS at citibank, knowing I returned the goods, said, "Gee, they say I don't have a right to my money back so the charge will go through."

I wrote them back saying if that's the measure of stupidity and incompetency of citibank then I don't want them handling my money matters.

After repeating such attempts to cancel the cards they never acknowledged the cancellation and the slimeballs kept sending statements like nothing ever happened.

I paid off every penny I took from them and all their late fees and finance charges since the initial request to cancel, I did not pay.

I just now spoke to a customer service manager explaining I paid off every penny I spent and have NOOOOOOOO intention of every paying the "late fees" and "finance charges" on an account that shouldn't have existed. I have DOCUMENTATION of at least one request to cancel. I have delivery confirmation of the three cut-up cards sent back to "THE LAKES, NV." They can either drop it or keep sending statements and calling the next 15 years.

She actually said she'll wipe out the account.

it's citi cards - the credit card company

I am receiving calls daily - up to 4 X's per day with hang ups and an occasional voice on the line.  I called back and it is Citibank.  Very annoying!

We're current on all bills and still get these calls.  We've never been late.  I'm wondering if these are telemarketing calls.  Has anyone ever spoken to a real person??

This is CitiCards.  Unless you know that your account is delinquent, ANSWER THIS CALL.  I had been ignoring it for a long time, and then finally answered it to tell them to F*** Off, then found out it was a good thing I answered it!  I made a complaint that they need to leave a message so people don't ignore their call, but they think that people just won't call back, assuming it is a collections message, so they just try to get a hold of the person.  In my specific case, I had been on a payment plan with them due to past dilinquency, complied with it, so they were rewarding me by reopening my account for a LOWER interest rate!  Thank goodness they were persistent!

I keep getting calls from this number 1-859-283-8073, 4-5 times a day.  I have never had a Citibank account, so I am figuring that the person that had my cell phone number before me is indebted to them.  How does one go about telling them to quit calling?
