00000000 has called for weeks - they are bored and pathetic and love harrassing anyone they can.

AND why is it that we Americans are powerless to remove this harrassment? Why does the UNITED STATES GOV"T allow such [***]!????   This and more [***] keep happening to telephone service and NO ONE is shutting this crap down - it just gets worse.

This is one of many activites that show the US is circling the drain - totally out of control

AND what should bother everyone even more - THESE things will get much worse....the future has no hope for sanity to return to the world - just insanity will rule with technology and crazy [***] taking over.  Throw your cell phone away and maybe sanity will return.  :)

This number has called me 4 times.  I just answer and hang up.  On the 4th time I answered and a man with a foreign accent answered and told me I won $100 in card vouchers for being a good standing customer with my credit cards.  He made it sound great, but then continued to ask for my mailing information- wouldn't they already have that if they knew my credit card history?!

Thanks for this site- glad I got the answer i was looking for. obviously a scam.

Rang me today from PC Express Online. Indian lady telling me that my PC had a critical error. Thought I would have some fun. So I asked her which PC, as I have eight! (I lied) She replied that they all run through 1 broadband. Fine I said but which PC, you tell me and then I asked her how she knows I have a critical error. She claimed that Mircrosoift told her. As she would not listen to my questions and reasoning, it soon descended into a yelling match. There then followed a yelling match, which I won. Guess what she called back a minute later, so more fun, I thought, on wnet my old lady accent. She demanded to speak to 'my husband' and after feigning hard of hearing I told her that my husband had sadly died and she must have the worng number. Since then silence. I miss her....almost as much as I miss my fake dead husband! Reported thee call to http://www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps/index.html and I urge everyone else to do the same. We must stop this coompanies who are criiminals, exploit workers and are often funded from surprising sources.

I feel sorry for the Indian lady that a bunch of crooks is exploiting her that way, only for her to come across tossers like me.

Hi. Similar call to the one I had. Yell at them. Then when they call back pretend to be an Old Man or Old Woman and when they ask to speak to your Wife/Husband tell them that they have died. You will then have peace. They are crooks. Simple criminals who want all your personal details so they can steal your money and your ID.

They called me today, some guy was asking me about my computer and stated he needed me to turn it on and run a program as I had several viruse. Well I just gave the phone to my 2yr old son who then talked to 3min then my son said bye which I assumed they hung up. Nope, was I wrong he was still talking and asking if we could understand him. So I thought Id screw around with him as well, I told him serveral times I wasnt turning my computer on for him to go thru, the entire time we were fighting he kept telling me "mame please listen to me and let me finish" we did this for 16min when I finaly hung up, I felt I gave him more than enough touble for one day.

I see messages about this number date from 2008 thru 2009 and here I am all the way forward to 2012 and getting almost the same. The difference with the call I get is that there's never anyone at the other end, just a dead line, not even an echo as if the line was open. Very strange

Advice---Get a telephone that displays the caller's number--if you don't recognise the code-DON'T pick up the receiver, let it go to your built-in answering machine, when I do that they always hang-up.  I know it doesn't solve the problem, but, it gives YOU a bit of control, Try it, Good Luck.

i keep getting calls from this number, a man with a slight indian accent is always on the other end stating he is from microsoft and that they have received a signal from my computer that it is infected..that may be believable if it came from a real phone number. when i told them i would contact microsoft myself about any issues they hung up on me...next time they called i said i dont own a computer & he said i must have the wrong number & hung up....its all BS! I wouldnt trust anyone calling randomly, especially from a number like 00000000

so about the phone calls saying that they are from microsoft..DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. i spoke with microsoft & they already have an investigation into this SCAM. under microsoft they NEVER will call you about issues with your computer. EVER. they only take incoming calls for computer issues..they do not track your computer & would never know there was a "critical error" unless you called & reported it, at that point you would be given to a tech. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR INFO!!! DO NOT! the women i spoke to at microsoft stated that from what they know so far this is a way for them to take control of your computer & steal all of your information!!! DO NOT FALL FOR THIS!!!!!! im glad i called microsoft. and i hope no one ffalls for this...i honestly hope they call back soon so i can get as much info from them as i can & report them...microsoft will be emailing me a link so that i am able to report any info i gather from them, to assist in microsofts investigation. Ill share the link once i receive it....
