Voice of an Indian accented man telling me I had been involved in an accident with injury recently and he could help. (Not true). I told him he was ringing an ex-dir number registered with the Telephone Preference Service and he hung up immediately.

I got two calls to my cellphone with this number today (1-11-2012).the first time i answered they hung up && the second time i answered they told me the same thing they told you.

I guess various companies use this number. I'm arranging a water meter with Northumbria Water and they called me on this number to arrange a survey.

your mom calls me from this number  !!!

They said that there has been an accident in my family and kept on calling me kiddo !!!

Have received yet ANOTHER call from this number!!!!! How on earth can they even get a number like this and why can't we stop the flipping nuisance call????

They call me like 4 times a day

Call every week twice today so far and I am on no cold calling list want them stopped. Thanks

who in the hell is it they call both of my cell phones ringing at the same time it is so annoying can anybody tell me what company is this or who is it its some real  bs...

Had a call from 000000000 this morning. Told me his name was John Simon. An Indian man with an English name yeah right pull the other one it's got bells on it!!! Tried to tell me someone in the family had had an accident within the last 2 years. I told him I was not aware of anyone having an accident. (Wouldn't have told him if there was anyway!). I told him I knew it was a scam from the number that came up on my phone and told him in no uncertain terms I did not want him to call my number again and hung up. Fingers crossed!!

Foreign sounding lady.  Could not understand a word she said.  Unfortunately as no area code so cannot be added to my  barred list

first time they called telling me i have virus in my computer, they wanted access to repair. i told them no that i live with an it tech and he would check it . they hung up. they called again and i told them that this was the private line for the city police dept and asked how they got this number as it is for official police business, they didnt care so I hung up

It was a man with an indian type accent telling me iwon a 500 dollar walmart gift card and kept emphasizing on how theres NO GIMMICKS and then told me i had to pay a $2.95 shipping and handling and asked for a credit card or debit card # and when i told them i had neither, he quickly hung up

To add to this : he knew my name and address idk how !

People steal collections of credit card numbers from places like banks or gas pumps. Sometimes from laptops they find in cars that belong to a bank employee or something. They sell and trade the lists to other people to use the numbers to see if they can get any money.

got this call form 0000000000 they said i won  a voucher for 100 dollars wanted info. told them i have to talk to my husband then they said no no end  this call. does anyone know how i can find out who did this call ? thanks joanna
