- ScammedOnce upon a time, numbers such as this called me. I was a new widow; they threatened myself, my five daughters still at home, our social security. I allowed myself to be scammed for over $4000 until three people from three different "law offices" called within an hour over the same issue. Called our state attorney general and then, no more. If in doubt, call your state AG for clarification.
