It keeps calling me back and when I answer no one is there and hangs up

They said they were from the government and that i got a grant

They've been calling me 2 to 3 times a day. Nothing till today. It's some guy with an accents saying my computer is in danger and has some illegal activity and i need to be infront of my computer to fix it...

tes Allstream Inc now owned by ZAYO GROUP is allowing these robocalls through their occtel robocall computerized AI intergrated through skpe with free or cheapest access planetwide using blackcloud ISP internet and ethernet access.most 416/905/818/305 212 etcarea codes are actually going into a computer about the size of the old Amana radar range..also sized about same size as the first Mars space probe of 1998..Nowadays these devices sell for about 50k and with an internet connection with multy ports you can start selling "mattresses to new tenants and homeowners "at new numbers."the computer will determine which numbers have real voices answering so just say wello or hello and your tele number is now in the robocall machine as active..political perties in both USA and CA use these devices as evidences bt the last Harper campaign in CA and now with Clinton in the USA. perhaps Trump will also start an extensive TV and/or robocall campaign sgortly as well.it is somewhat costly if done with persons on standby waiting to pick-up telephone live hits and close the sale..The sale could be the lottery tickets/your political support/pet insurance etc.Recently one individual insured 33 cats with pet insurance and later burnt down the cathouse for the insurance cash..the underwriter never paid out last i heard. damn .now.

yes these are live wire detector calls.the telemarketer computer is IDing numbers with people answering.the computer knows difference between conterfeit and real voice of human being alive. yes indeed these robocall computers are used by political parties both sides of the CA/USA border.some might remember the Harper robocall controversy..manning the lines with volunteers makes telemarketing very cheaper whether selling life insurance/lottery tickets and/or yourpolitical support.so on now .wax exit taz.asknottaz

They called me 3 hrs ago and I couldn't understand this man at all. I've had 5 calls from different numbers just today and three so far were scams!!

I would like to know who call me every time and when i try to answer does't talk.

I just received a call from this number. Man clearly sounded like he was from the middle East he kept telling me that the government was awarding me 9,700 dollars and i wouldnt have to pay any of it back, but then kept saying I would have to go to the next available place to pick this money up. Seems sketchy to me.

I just got this same call today said I got a grant of like 9k

This is a scam call.  In my case it's someone with an Indian accent claiming that my computer is infected and it needs fixing.  I replied that if he is a religious man he will rot in Hell for evermore for such dishonesty.  He rang back later and said that I and all my family are prositutes. Don't expect BT to do anything, or the police for that matter.
