they called today sayingihave viruses on my PC, said they were windows........HE CAN'T EVEN SPEAK A FULL SENTENCE WITHOUT PAUSING.........i hungup,they called again, didn't bother answering.

this number rang today and i answered an indian sounding man told me my computer was being accessed by a 3rd party and he asked me to put my computer on    he told me it is downloading files   i told him i didnt have time to switch it on and hung up    i would not trust such a strange number

I was woken from an afternoon nap to this 00000000000000 jumped out of my chair thinking I had forgotten to pick my grandson up from school tripped over the cat and fell flat on the floor, I reached up and grabbed the receiver, silence, I said "Hello" in a pained voice, woman said "Hello" paused then hung up. I said 000 as I struggled to get up. I apollagised to the cat.

keep getting this 00000...number at the moment 2 or 3 times a day, i have got an answer machine on permanently so i never answer these cold callers, if its important people usually leave a message.

Received call regarding a supposed accident happening recently.  When I said there had been no accident the caller rang off.

repeat calls after a few weeks break. No answer , why are they doing this. We are registered with phone preference service, no use at all

I've just had a call from the multiple '0' number asking for a person who has never lived at this property or had this phone number (I personally know the former owner of this landline number), also being troubled by 01277 203 786, not just at home but at my father in law's house.  Getting extremely pissed off by it all, especially as I have a disability and my father in law has alzheimers.

Keep getting phone calls to my landline off a multiple 0 number....when i answer the phone line sounds crackly then it goes dead....who are they and what di they want....why dont they speak?

Have received multiple calls from this number and when I have answered there was nothing on the other end. Will we ever be rid of these people and others like them. The telephone is supposed to be an instrument of communication not an instrument of torture.

I have just bought a call blocker and caller ID and it came up as International caller. I tapped in the special code which should now see the back of them. I have now programmed it to stop all with held numbers and International calls and in the first week I have noticed peace  longer spells.. I like the comment about the USA not allowing with held. Personally I cannot trust anyone who withholds their number. If it is worth answering it should be worth ringing back. Something serious has got to be done about these callers. It has to be bad for me to invest in a blocker.

We've jsut starred to get this weird phone number too.  The 000 0000 000 0000 number.  At first I thought something had gone wrong with 1471 but now it's happened a few times I checked it out on here.  Wonderful :(  more bloody scammers!!!!  Yes, we are also ex-directory and on TPS.  Waste of time if you ask me.

I have received 4 calls from this number today. I have put my answer machine on and they hang up befor the message is finished.  I have answered in the past and I think it was for some kind of survey.

This number keep calling my elderly Mum. They do not get through anymore since we have installed a  truecall monitor. Now I can log in and see the times and the numbers that have tried to call her and got zapped away. Very satisfying to know they can't get to her anymore. www.truecallcontrol.co.uk .  This was recommended to me by Trading Standards after she was scammed for a second time and gave her bank details.
