my friend got a phone call last night that said "would you like to buy a puppy? if you don't purchase this puppy i'm going to kill it-" and then this was followed by REALLY loud screams.

who would do something like that?

guy claims his phone rang and he picked up. but thats what happened to me! i didnt' call, my phone RANG. no idea.. so we both said this is weird.. goodbye.
i googled something about it appearing on the caller ID if someone dials from SKype.

They just call and hang up on me!!

They keep calling- how do they get your number

I just received a call from 000-012-3456.  Because it was a weird number, I did not answer it.  Does anyone have any idea who or what this number is.  And if it should be reported?

Just got a call from this number, but it came in on my Fax (well, distinctive ring) number, no fax, no message.

A voicemail that lasted 2 seconds.  Phone was hung up.  Weird.  How does that number exist?

I got a call at work showing this number. They claimed to be from my bank's credit card processing department. They wanted to confirm some details. I didnt tell them anything. i hung up and called my bank and reported it. Unfortunately they cant do much as i guess there is supposedly a new service online. Where someone goes to a website and pays for the site to call them and then connect a call to whoever they want. And the person who paid for the call can have the caller id show whatever they want. I dont know if this service is still available or not. I hope not as it is scary as people can then fake to be anyone. So definetely beware

my friend was over saturday night and we got a call from that # we didnt pick up cauz it didnt look like a real # they didnt leave a message. earlier today she also got a call from the same # she picked up but there was silence. I wonder how this person knows both our #s since we go to different schools and dont have any of the same friends.

We just got a call from this number. We picked up, said hellow about 5 times, but no answer. I just hope that the caller couldn't have hacked our phone line.

Got a call with 000-012-3456 and i didn't answer either. What the hell is that number anyways?  Anybody with answer for this phone number? Can we blocked this call?

Skype is an internet calling service, lets you call landlines or cells from the internet VOIP for free or very little cost.
Every call from Skype has caller ID 000-012-3456
If your kid calls you from Skype or any telemarketer uses Skype it will always have this caller ID.
Impossible to trace.
Unless you know someone who uses Skype, ignore it.
It sucks for me cause I use Skype and no one answers my calls unless I tell them about it first.
Now telemarketers have jumped onto it and ruined it for everyone...

Call was  a recorded message from a man identifying himself as Denis St-Jacques asking to call 613-216-9410 in order to get goverment help to start a business ????? That number does not exist in Canada411 database.

This number is the SKYPE caller id number.. my husband calls me on skype from afghanistan and this is the number that always comes up.. so whoever is trying to reach you when this number comes up is using SKYPE.. if you dont know anyone using skype i wouldn't pick it up because anyone in the world can use skype

i got a call 1.30 am.. it was wierd music playing and it was kinda creepy.  but yeah i just googled it got to this site ..
