Received an automatec call at 20.30 this evening asking for PayPal authorisation number which I didn't know. Called 3 times but unable to speak to anybody and didn't know what yhey wsnted. I had used PayPal this afternoon but it all went through OK.  Never had this before but did not like it one bit !!

They called me to give a verification code but i didn’t even pay anything with paypal

American-sounding voicemail called this morning at 09.51 am wanting me to 'input my confirmation pin'.

Haven't made any purchases via PayPal for a long time so suspect this is a scam call.

Had call from this number today after receiving email from"PayPal" which said receipt for payment of £50 made this morning. Definitely didn't buy anything today using PayPal. Have reported it to PayPal as scam/ fake. Was also advised to change all PayPal passwords etc.

got a call from this number asking for paypal code, my husband hung up and called Paypal.  They checked our home number to find it was registered on someone else's account!  They are investigating this now for us. They also said this number was not them

10 times so far not called back

Had call, allegedly from PayPal.  When I rand their CS number, they said that they had no system for cold-calling people

Automated fake call from PayPal asking for my 4 digit password number. Hung up, beware.

This phone number is from Omaha Nebraska Usa which called me tonight at 9.23 pm on a saturday! I never ever answer when I don’t recognize the phone number and also block those phone numbers. They sent me 2 text messages claiming it was from Paypal with pincodes which I deleted. I don’t even have Paypal so I know it’s a scam!!

Suspected Paypal Scam - beware

Called 8:40am Frid morning. Presumably a Paypal scam as a) Paypal never call b) I have no transactions needing verified. Never answered anyway.

Fraudulent Papal number.  Do not give out any information and report to police.

Called at 2am didnt answer. Havent made any purchases through PayPal for years.  Certainly not at that time in the morning.

Asked for Paypal Pin number, phoned on a landline number that Paypay do not have, so obvious scam

This number called at 9:45pm 2 days ago didn’t answer the phone. It’s since tried again on 2 other occasions

Tried to call me twice this morning but have BT call blocker. I wouldn't have answered anyway as it was an International number. I do have a Paypal account which I checked and no unusual transactions recently so if it is Paypal not sure why they need to call me. Feels a bit dodgy to me.

First, I received several "security codes" via SMS from Paypal, which were all announced to be valid for 10 minutes.
I do have a Paypal account, but I was not doing anything with it recently.
5 minutes later, I received a call from this number. I did not pick up since it was an unexpected international call.
2 minutes later, I received an automated voice message asking me to type in the security code I received.
!!! FISHY !!!
Probably an attempt to fish for access to my Paypal account (which isn't linked to any credit card anyway as an extra safeguard).

5 calls about a Dominos pizza I didn't order from a town I do not live in 115 miles away in Cheshire! Blocked.
