Been getting weirdos texts (malicious) from a mobile number with the code +144

Any ideas where this would be coming from.

Me too, the same number as you had rang twice in the space of about 10 minutes today - no-one the other end, weird! If you Google it 00144 is a cheaper international option to the standard one available in Australia...??!! Will we get charged somehow?

I've had numerous calls from this number despite being registered with the TPS. They call themselves consumer lifestyle or at least say they are conducting a survey on their behalf.....I've refused info, been offhand, tried being rude, but to no avail. Always a foreign voice on the end of the line...am concerned in case one of my children answers & inadvertently gives something away!  Have tried tracing the number online, but no success.....am now trying to block the number by other means!

had a call from this number 001448001389084 asking for mr jones hoping that i would correct them and reveal my correct surname then maybe my address.most probably phishing for details linked to p p i.

This number has called twice 0014402089611978 when I pick the call its a voice speaking foreign language

Keep getting missed calls from 001443301239024 - no-one on the other end, no-one answers if you ring back ????? Complete arseoles best just to ignore as I've also tried to block but to no avail :(

Me too - every day for a couple of weeks now ...  Now I don't even try to answer.

It's a chinese number of a somewhat dodgy chinese company. Never answer it and block it if you can. It could end up costing you just for answering it.
