got a call from this number001441211211210 but didnt answere it, any one know wht s all about.

i had a call on my land line at 16.25 on 24.09.13 speaking in a foreign language, phone number was 0014402089611978. unacceptable

called yet again at 8.57am by 00441734533443 they always hang up when i answer does anyone know who it might be looks like call from abroad

There  have been calls from 01734 533443 to me.  It's people wanting to do a survey.  Something like Consumer Direct or Consumer UK.

Company that had been ringing on 01734 533443 was Householders Choice.  Apologies for wrong name in above!

Really?       Would you care to explain the logic of that statement, please?       As it appears in this thread 00144 is no more than a group of numbers.     A variety of other disjointed numbers appear that should correctly be in other threads.

Not quite the same number but same origin, 00144191565368. Never answered, especially with 14 digits weird.!!!! 09-1-14 at 16-45. Scotland.

I have also had this number phone me, but by the time I get to the phone, they have rang off. They always phone at around 5 30pm I would like to know how to block these calls.

I have had a call from 001448725630613 and when picking up no one would answer (dead = no sound) and it eventually cut off. I do not have number notification so I got the number from 1471. There seems to be no record of this number on Googling it and the international code seems a bit of a mystery but maybe Crete or some alternative for 0044 (?). It is probably some scam but I hope it is not malicious such as somehow charging me for answering it. Anyone else have any info.
