who call me and why?

Who and from where?

Didn’t take the call as I knew there is no ozzy ph # that stars with 0015. Safer not to answer any overseas calls unless your expecting one, or no caller id/private number they’re always a scam or telemarketers.

Rang to say I had been overcharged by SKY and they wanted to refund me with £201. Asked for my D.O.B. and I gave a false one. Asked for the expiry date and I said I had to go and get it. Ten minutes later after a few hellos he hung up. Rang again and I recognised the number "Please hold the line, your call is being forwarded to Action Fraud" I said. Then I asked for his name and the address he was ringing from and told him he was being investigated for fraudulent activity. That got rid of him for the moment anyway

received a phone call this evening, didn't answer they've left a message saying please press 1

Receiving alot of calls from 00153262542 and 0153262542, 0015328916254, 0016439968955, 0013212893161, what do I do about this?

Well you could learn to read to begin with. The number at the top of the page is the number that you should be reporting, not all those other numbers, which all have their own thread.

Call claiming to be urgent from HMRC who were about to take me to court, have reported to police as is obviously a scam. If you receive one of these calls do not press 1 to speak to your caseworker.

Why this Number call me

Call received from 0015 number claiming to be from AIB visa and mastercard and stating that they were extending the expiry date on the card by 3 years. They then asked for additional numbers on the card and security 3 digit number. I hung up on them and checked with the bank who confirmed it was a scam which has peaked recently.

Getting these calls a few times a day. Got BT call guardian and blocked international numbers as my family abroad will tell me before they call. No more calls since then!

another 0015 call with 162179508 following I answered but no reply will add to my bt Protect number list

Claimed my Internet security had been compromisedand he was calling from my phone provider. When I said I'd call my phone provider to check he became aggressive, cursing at me.

I think they must ring a bunch of numbers automatically first to see which ones  get answered (This is where the call is silent when you answer it),  Then a representative rings you in person later on knowing that there will be someone there to receive the call at a given time (e.g, lunchtime or teatime).

This number called me on land-line in between 9 pm to 10 pm on Saturday
