Hi. I received an sums message from number  +2522976035. I live in Trinidad and did not call the number. I messaged back "Who is this?" and got no reply. I realise it is some kind of hoax. Can anyone say what is the aim behind the call request? What is their scam?

I got a message from +25229724041 and it said i have won $50000 and the bank insists me to enreghistrer or else they will award it to some one else

This is the text they sent. Needless to say, I didn't bother calling back.
I'm in SEAsia SG, will notify my family to ignore this.

I got 2 different calls from 00252 99277866 and 00252 99177721. These calls were at 01:30 hrs. Kind of strange to be getting calls from these numbers through the night. Be aware.

yesterday night I had a call from 002522202052 when I was asleep I couldn't attend the phone and now found its from somalia  
be careful and spread this to all as I have seen a message in facebook that this type no.if you recieve they will tell they are from the mobile service company and they will  collect all detail asking some no's to dial and switch off the phone ,once you are offline they will call to the no.s collected from your mobile saying you are unsafe and they need to money to save you this makes so tricky that somebody has to pay money thinking you are not safe because you are offline
