Yes I had a number of calls from this number to... probebly couse i change my homepage, I guess.

Yes, it's really Google Maps. They asked me for a venue I have listed in Google Maps, which is closed since a year. Just an hour after the call I took a look at the listing in Google Maps and the venue was suddenly marked as closed and I received an email from Google Support that the places was closed.

Just the Google Maps / Local  team checking the validity of recent update requests to a business listing. The guy who called me just read down all the info they currently have on record about my business for me to confirm and we were done in less than 2 minutes.

Haha, me too. I'm from the Netherlands. So google checks if the phone numbers fit the name on google maps. Weird

I also got a call from this number today 12 o clock, they hang up the phone when I answered. Last week I got a call from nr.0035314361000 which is similar. I talked to one person who asked me about my company and told me that he/ she was from google maps...

This is the phone number that Google Maps quality control calls from, to check on whether any corrections/changes/deletions that you earlier requested from Google Maps and that have been applied, were genuinely requested by you.

Came today to Sweden.

Same here, got a call from this number, i don't believe a single word about they're are from Google Maps, to me that's a fraud scheme, seem's to me a break into scheme they check location and if someone answer the phone, probably they will call more than once to make a pattern. I guess it's how it works.

from this number, 0035315437070, they called me today, and  told me to be of google map: they only requested confirmation on the name of my company. I must point out that not long ago I had requested changes on some nearby streets, which they was  reported incorrectly. I'm in Italy.

I had a call from this number. Nosey Cow asking loads of personal questions. How do we know if they are really Google Maps and if they are an internet company surely they should just read the website and stiop making these annoying calls?

Hi Sinep! How you know it is Google Maps is pretty simple! Just ring them back and you'll get on to an answering machine that will tell you who it is. They're just trying to do their job and provide people with a free service: a map that's correct & that everyone can use! And maybe the website doesnt have all the information, that's why they rang. Don't know the "Nosey Cow" personally, but I'm sure she is a human being just like you!

Was called 2 today by 0035-315437070 (Ireland). I live in Germany.

I'm From Finland, just called by Google Maps, asked if the address of our company given to Google Maps was right. A girl speaking fluent Finnish but the number is clearly foreign.

Seems to be legit, but you should never call back to weird looking numbers.

die freundliche Dame am Telefon wollte sich erkundigen ob der "PUFF" hir wirklich offen hatt ich betreibe keinen Puff meine Google Maps Makirung wird ständig von Irgendwelchen Neidern in Freudenhaus udg. geändert da auch noch meine echte Verlinkung etwas merkwürdig ist (Datenschutz) und zum Darstellen einer Kurzen Adresse die dann auf eine Lange Adresse umgeleitet wird beide nicht auf die selbe Firma Registriet wollte die Dame sich nach der Richtigkeit erkundigen.

Sie wollte weder etwas verkaufen im gegenteil nur die DATEN wieder Richtig gebogen
