Today I got a call from 393193260030 , when I answered it automatically hung up. I'm from Portugal. They seem to make these calls all around the world.

i got a call from this no. (00393193260001) at 19:03 (India) on July 10th 2009. i received the call but i could not hear anything.

i called back and gave tham a missed call but i have not heard anything after that..

yeah, my girl-friend have same problem. somebody call her from that number. she received the call but nothing to hear.

Im from slovakia.

They are leaving these numbers hoping people will call them back.  They are expensive to call and your Network Operators and the company that owns these numbers are sharing the revenue.

Caller: ask Intermatica (Italy)

I constantly get calls from some of those numbers - starting ++393 - ending 001, 013, 038, 044 etc. It startes a couple of months ago.Two rings only or if I manage to answer - hang up. What could be the purpose?

someone called me from :00393193260001 . it was very quick so i wan't able to pick up. i checked for the number it's from italy. then i checked on google and i got this page. thanks to u i will not call back :P

The Netherlands... very long ring in the morning.

The same number calls me 09.55 in the morning, I see this wierd number and answerd it, but as i have no money on the phone the call was closed. and i wont call back :).
But why are they doing like this, i mean, isnt this illegal.

I live in Belize.  Got a call today from this number.  It rang a lot but I didn't pick up as I thought it was someone I didn't want to talk to.  Called back and heard "The Girl From Ipanema" and someone saying "this is the chat line for you."  Then looked this site up.  It doesn't seem to have taken money from my prepaid cell card but now I wonder what else might happen.

I got a call from number 00393193260001 yesterday at 21:38 with just one ring.  I'm from Slovenia and I have some friends from Italy but I know their numbers. After a quick check up and thanks to you all I didn't call back. Be careful.

did receive call from 00393193269049; Who knows how we can stop this for ever because I think they wont to earn money in a not legal way.

The code of Bulgaria is not 00393, but 00359 ! I also receive a call from 00393, I know that code in Italy is 0039

I got a call from this number +39312727104191, but i didnt answer and i didnt call back, i am from  algeria and i've searched in google about this number and saw this website and your comments and your advices, they were very helpful.
