I have no clue who she is talking to ;-) Wondering what happens if someone say yes?

Five minutes ago the same number called me in Austria. Same game like the others. First question: is the boss here? Second question if I speak english. Looks like they pick the numbers out of a company register, because most of the "victims" have their own companies.

Got a call a little past 8.00 AM in the morning here in Denmark - didn't answer the phone as I was not expecting a call. My husband has his own company!

The same in germany. Same here in Austria. I hung up after she asked for the manager by name.

Denmark got a call about 8,15 am in the morning.. can i talk too the person i charge.

got today a call at 10:30 here in switzerland - french region. a lady asked me to speak english ... which I refused. she wanted to speak the boss by name (myself). I refused to enter in discussion  ...  by by and hung up. hope can help to identify callers.

Called me at home in Norway four days ago. I was at the register in a shop, and talking to the cashier (a woman) while answering the phone (a man with bad english accent). He stardet out with asking me questions about my company (I work in the church, so there's not really a lot of money for him to steel from there), but then started asking me fairly rude questions regarding the female voice in the background (the cashier), lik "is she your girlfriend", "she sounds like good looking, is she", and so forth. I tried to make the call last as long as possibly, just to make him waste money on it. He finally hung up when I asked him from where he got my number...

It's really hard to understand what he was up to, because if he tried to fool me to give him money, he'd better try with another, somewhat more friendly, approach...

Got a call minutes ago. A Woman asked if she could speak to the general manager or if i speak english. Then she started to ask for my mail an name, so i hang up.
Very noisy backround...

+443444 called me today and wanted to send me an email. Same man with bad accent.
Would not tell me what it was all about. He knew the name of my business.

She just called several times on our managers mobile phone. When I answered it, she stopped call. The she called on our stationary phone and asked for our manager. I asked her for her desire, if she wants to sell any diamonds or other dubious things. She told me that she cannot tell me, she can only talk to the manager personal because it is a very personal thing. Then I told her, that he would not understand her because he is not able to understand any English. So she said "that does not matter, it is ok then" and pulled the receiver down. Hope we were getting rid of her....... (Germany)

Number 00443444 ist still working hard in 2012! January 16, Monday morning! Again in Germany!

They get our telephone numbers from for ex. Yellow Pages. It's absolutely fishing, like those infantile emails from Africa offering millions of dollars in a bank etc.

00443444 seems to be an old code composition from one last territory in England that did not introduce the modern telephone code yet. If anybody has time enough, fire back. Just pass the information to the authorities and ask them to intervene. They can find out who's behind and start a process.

Same here, just minutes ago in Germany. Was forwarded to my phone cause the guy wanted to talk to my boss. Knew the name but not sure if it was given to him by the lady who answered the call first. As he knew the name I assumed he must be a client or similar so I told him my boss will be back on Monday.
I asked three times for his name and thought first he didn't understand me cause his english wasn't that good.
I hope he is calling on Monday to give some nice words :)

A few minutes ago I also got a call from this number 00443444 in Germany ... she asks me to speak to my boss but i told her he is not in office. i ask her what she want and then he hung up ... strange ...

A woman with hard accent called our office and wanted to talk to my boss. I told her, that my boss is away on a construction job, but she didn't (want to) understand.

First I thought she would be a customer, but she refused to tell me the cause of her call.

She tried to figure out the best time to talk to my boss, and asked me to give his mobile number to her, but I can't (didn't want to). She query, what time he'll be back in office today, what would be the best time to get through to him, and if he speak english. When I told her to send an eMail, it has been quite difficult to give her our eMailadress, she didn't understand...

On my question, where she's calling from, she answered "deltacom", but Google told me, that deltacom is a german projectmanagement agency. So I found answers at whocallsme.com, thanks!

Next time I won't answer the call. Thanx

Just received a call from 00443444. I was already wary when I answered the phone because of this unusual no. on the display:

- Call Center noices in the Background
- Asked for our CEO bei name
- Told her he isn't in the office
- She asked when he would be back
- I told her: he won't be back!
- Completely unimpressed by this answer she said Thank you and hang up.

Wondering if they try again. As some here mentioned we receive numerous calls: selling diamonds, stock, personal ! business offer and stupid faxes offering to buy the company. Because of this we actually stopped answering questions from caller who want to "update their data". They only want to get to personal information to sell the data or call and ask for someone by name, hoping to be put through. Anyone who has really a business connection to our company must have a personal contact. If the caller can't name this person I tell them to send an e-mail or fax for their inquiery (We never receive any).
