"Hi mate, I have looked at it a few times now, and after looking
around, I'm satisfied with the great condition but what's your actual
price for it. I love a bargain, so i would like to get it as soon as i
can. I would be able to make payment through PayPal, i find it the
easiest way to use my credit card safely and is a safe and reliable
method of payment... Let me know your price for it . I hope to hear
from you soon, and i will make all transportation preparations for the
it to be transported to my home. If possible can you send me some
recent picture of the item"

Hi guys,

I'm from Spain. I received the same message "Hi I just viewed your ad on segundamano.es. I want to know if your bike is still for sale. Reply me at: evvansmark78@gmail.com".

I suspected inmediatly. I wrote the email address on the net and I got into this website.

Thank you for your warning. It was so helpful!!

van dezelfde naam (email : evansmark78@gmail.com) wil via kapaza meubels kopen met betalingswaarborg via paypal.
opgepast!!

Ander nummer: 00456099263528

I'm from Belgium and wanted to sell my BMW
We ware of this mark Evans !!!!

Hi guys

Same story here.
Received a text massage from Evans Mark with the question if my bike s still for sale. I was so happy that it was finally sold but then he askes me to pay upfront. I didn't trust it and after putting his gsm number on google and I found this site.

What do I need to do now? I already sent a payment request to him. I mailed to Paypal if it is the normal procedure to pay upfront and they said it is. Now I've received another mail where they say that I need to do it within 48 hours.

Thanks for the help and beware!!

The scumbags have even taken to try and hawk their wares on this site! The 'ad' above is a scam. If you reply to it, you will lose money. Hopefully the site moderators will spot it soon and remove it.

+456099237902 evans mark (evans78@gmail.com) is fake.he is full off [***]. dont send back tho him. he is only after your money and he dont wanne buy your stuff. please look out

We have received the same messages from Derry Coleman, asking for our Paypal name and so on to buy our car we have posted on Austrian autoscout24. they don't focus on any country, trying it everywhere. after I googled his name and found this page I wrote him that there are a lot of interesting information about him on the internet and that the car is not for sale any more. no more answer from this idiot.

Happens to me too! harrisscott40@gmail.com contacted me today and wanted to buy my horse, but he knew nothing of horses.
In Norway now...

What to do when he contacts you??

Just to let you kow this scamis still active in july 2013

Mails ignorieren.
ATTENTION: Carlos Teles, cat.teles1@gmail.com is also active in Switzerland. He just wants to get money for shipping costs for the car, he wanted to by. He writes to you, that buying plus shipping costs are already at a paypal account. At the same moment, I also got a mail from service@pa-ypal.com which confirmed, that the amount is on a account and wait for me. I called paypal and they told me, that this paypal mail is a fake. Just don't send any money to the adress, you get as Account Holder, even if you get mails with threats like FBI/Interpol are already informed and that you have to be careful because your life is in a danger. Just ignore these mails.

please find the conversation below I had with "Lucy Long" on the "Swedish number" which was no longer active.
When I confronted "her" with this fact "she" said she was in Astor.
She kept insisting on getting paypal, which I did as she said she was willing to pay the price for the car I was selling. As the price for the car exceeded the limitations paypal imposes on their new customers I told Lucy that is was going to take a couple of days to straighten this out.
Aldo did not react to my question where to send the invoice and other admin stuff, but kept on pushing to get my Paypal id.
At that moment I called everything off
