Had a call from a number with this prefix at 3.20 am yest morning. It was very disturbing as it woke me from a fitful sleep. I have a close friend in hospital who has just had a lung removed due to cancer. I thought it was bad news and it took me ages to get back to sleep. They had actually hung up by the time I got to the phone.

Was called by 005112517633 telling me there is a problem with my laptop.
Just told them to "[***] off, you piece of sub-life [***]"

This number has called me three times on my mobile over the past few days. I haven't answered it as I didn't hear the phone. Peru international dialing code.

0051 2183852 000038 0398 this number called today latest of scam caller numbers. did not answer as i know nobody in Peru

A caller from this number 00519161930000034 rang to say she was from BT Open Reach and they were switching our broadband over to fibre later today and wanted me to check the broadband speed. She told me to go to google and type in BT Broadband speed check. she then asked what was on the screen after I told her she said come out of that screen and type in speedtest.net I then questioned her and asked for her number and I would ring her back. Surprise surprise the line went dead

DONT GIVE ANY INFO OR ACCESS TO YOUR DEVICES

Just received two calls from 0051441742623438. First, too many digits, therefore suspicious. Again on first call could not understand the caller. Second call  - No voice. If this IS from Peru, I hope it's costing them big money.

received a call saying it was Microsoft and that my computer had been hacked sending begging emails for money they wanted me to enter several numbers and letters to stop it or they would have to close me down I said I was busy they said they would call back I checked the code on the number they called from and it turned out to be peru they havn't stopped calling hopefully they will give up

Foreign caller said there was a problem with my computer. I thought I would tell himI didn't have one!! He sounded very surprised and rang off

Just had a phone call from a 0051 number,  accent saying he was from BT and that my internet connection had been compromised. I told him I was with Virgin media and he said they provide the line. He was very insistent that I check my internet IP address immediately. I cut him sort and said I'd ring Virgin. Minutes later the phone rang again. I didn't answer as I was checking out the Virgin media website. The phone has just rang again and when I checked the number it was him again 0051 4331332. Virgin do not share lines or rent from BT. Will report this number to Action Fraud.

I have just had a call from Peru!   I did not answer as I know nobody from there and I have heard that there is a scam from these countries

hoy me han llamado desde el 0051908198901 y hace dos dias desde el 0051907842257.
No he descolgado en ninguno de los dos casos porque pienso es posiblemente una estafa

They say they are from Amazon and she has an outstanding balance on her account.
it is very upsetting as she is nearly 90 and has never used the internet in her life but being old school she worries she has an unpaid bill somewhere
