phone call at 2350 hrs, really worried me thought there was a problem with family

This is another scam number haven't picked up but I am sure it follows the same pattern as other have overseeved... Be careful

Had a call from 009198004492. Told me a load of persuasive stuff about “viruses on my computer”. There’s no way anyone can know that sort of thing. Clearly trying to scam me out of some money so kept him talking as long as I could, then told him what I really thought about him. The weird thing was I couldn’t cancel the call on my landline phone when I first saw the 0091 number ringing.

Scam call claiming to be a 'bank alert' saying that transfers of £1,300 had just been made from my bank account, without saying which bank that was. I've received several of these calls in the last couple of years, scams every time, from different tel. numbers, this time 00919 6744 65911
