Some aisian sounding woman voice, wanted to speak with general manager, when I tolg her, how can I help her, that she can speak with me, she said ok and hung up on me.

Geez, that number called me today and some man voice also wanted to speak with manager and I was like this number isn't registered to any company so he said okay and hung up.

Exactly the same thing happened to us, a lady wanted to speak to our manager and when I said he doesn't speak English she just hung up.

[***] strange....That number called me today asking for me. They know my name.I don't knw from where. She was speaking about some sort of investment....I listened 2 minutes and I hanged up. They didn't call again.

Today that number call me, some voice of woman ask me if she can speak with my general manager and i said "is out of office" she ask me if i can give mobile number of  manager for her ,i said no, and she hung up. So strange....

We are Czech company and someone called us several times and wanted to speak with manager. We told them that we were not interested but they still call us several times a day and they even bother my colleague on his mobile phone. I do not think that someone would be so stupid to deal with them after such experience.

The same happened to me in Slovakia. Once I finished one call , then another person called to ask me about the first call. Really weird! They offering investments and stuff.

Same in Latvia. They called from Hong-Kong as "Offshore investments" and asked if I'm interested in personal investments and asked when they can call back for more details. No information can be given by e-mail, only by phone (strange). Looks like +9999 is just a contact finder company who phones everyone in the list to find interesting contacts for their clients. Or it's just a phone joke.

The same call today on the 1st of August here in Latvia. A year ago I got a lot of theese calls in my office. Seems like they had a break and now it starts all over.

Today called this number. I leave in Estonia, but I did'nt answer. :D

Today +009999 was calling me (Tallinn, Estonia). Didn't answer, because the number didn't look trustworthy.

we got this call today in Latvia. Didn't pick up.

same experience some days ago. He knew the name of our company and asked for the manager.
I answered that he was talking to the manager. OK he said than asked  "what is your name?".

I replied that I didn't think we got business together and hung up
