A person with an indian-english accent (I'm not sure if it was a man or a woman) called me yesterday, the same numer (009999 100451) was on the "missed calls" already several times. The person told, that she works at the windows technical department, she's warning of a virus, that can destroy our computer.
Die anybody knwo something about these calls??

This scam is well known in the UK.  These people try to get access to your computer and if they get it they will install spyware/malware to steal information like bank details and passwords.  They are NOT from Microsoft and there is NO "Windows Technical Department".  Everything they say is lies.  Do not let them have access to your computer.

Called this morning by 009999100116. claimed to be a computer service manager. Wanted to help me with my P.C. I asked him which computer he was talking about as I have more than one and he immediately hung.up. Where do these rogues get my name from ?

I have received a call from 009991110000.
I did not take it and would like to know who is making such a call to me.

Today I got 2 calls from 0099 99 100 102. I didn´t answer, because my IP may become visible to botnet creators or whatever. 0099 is the country code of Turkmenistan!! - I´m livin in Germany

Called by 009999100238 today, didn't pick up the phone. Some days ago also called by a 009999 number, woman voice in bad english told me she was computer helpdesk, before she could say more I told her to go look for a legal job elsewhere and hung up. Last months increasing number of calls like this coming in.

009999 called me several times in march 2013. i didn´t pick up. I live in Lappland, the north part of Sweden.

A Chinese accented guy called form  009999111238  saying he is from "Windows Technical Department" and they want to fix my computer.  I must connect to the internet and he will direct me.  Bloody scam!!

You tube ask for the cell phone to verify my acount and after a couple of hours the number 009992091013524430 call d me at my cell i was at work did not answer and also call my home number find it as a miss call

Got a call from this number here in Spain at 8.30 this morning. Didn't answer

09999100157 called saying they were windows. I said yeh right. Indian man put phone down

009999100447 rang me today and rang off as soon as I answered, this happens regularly, they sometimes say they are from Windows technical assistance

The same here, I called the phone company and the police but none of them told me anything about it. It's been calling for days since we first picked up the phone and she tried to make us pay for some Microsoft security.

Received this call today (sep 08th) and hanged up before say something... I´m in Brasil

Called today from"windows" said my computer was downloading some some -concerning- information. I sked for the IP address they were monitoring. He said he would transfer me to supervisor and hung up.

who the bloody hell keeps ringing me from this number -pain in the backside

I get call from 009999 today. who call me from this number . can i make call from this number.

I didnt pick up. the Netherlands here. Thought it would be wrong.

I get numerous calls from this number and others normally Asian scammers, i know anyone can scam but it seems to be of yet of what ive experienced, one even threatened to kill me and im only young i got scared, there evil all anyone cares and fights over on this planet is money greed and selfishness will be over killer
