Hi Guys,

Just had a missed call from '0115' - I didn't pick up and they left no message.

Strange to have so few digits in the caller ID!

Anyone else had a similar one?

0115 is the STD prefix for Nottingham

I just got this, it was an indian person saying he was from the world lottery or something along those lines saying I'd been entered into the draw. He then asked if I still played the national lottery.
I asked how he got my number and he immediately hung up.

0115 was the number I got from dialling 1471 after I was called today by a lady purporting to be from a Health & Wellbieng Centre based in Ruislip. After I asked a few questions the caller said they were conducting a survey about arthritis prevention. Pretty sure it would be a selling opportunity although I was told it was not. They have to obtained the home number from a telephone directory - the number is listed under my partner's name which is who they asked for.

3 calls today, all silent and hung up when I answered. First call  when 1471 used, no number. second time 1471 reported call from 0115 and the third time 1471 said call was from 0119 both the latter two 1471s said a charge may be levied. These calls are becoming more prevalent when are BT going to earn the line rental charge and do something about these nuisance calls for FREE!

These four figure numbers are begining to be a real nuisance.   Any ideas how we can get all phone companies to respond to these bogas calls?

Caller usually hangs up when the call is answered.   I have lost count how many I have had this week alone

Yes I had this number call me

sometime tonight a caller company phoned me and there did not first say who there wear or the persons name that was on the phone and could you phone back the company and ask them what the name of there own company was and why did there call me for and what do there want from me

i get about 3 to 4 calls aday from 01159081162 they keep asking for jay, when i tell them theres no one here by that name and has never been any one here by that name, they still phone me. i told them i have lived here since 1998 and had the same number,they say they would make a note of it, but they still pester me daily

Number 0115 8712827 called today offering me a £1,000 bonus on my Personal pension if i had one. When i pressed button 5 to speak to someone a voice answered saying he was from Pension select. The line then went dead. I could not ring out on my phone for some considerable time as the line was blocked. These companies want stamping out. IT IS ILLEGAL for them to cold call in this way.

Just had a call from 0115 947 5291 no voice on the other end no message nothing.

Had a call on my mobile from  01158285000 tried to call back no joy line kept going dead . Any ideas who owns this number

Same 01158285000 4 missed calls to my mobile, no message left!

Missed call on mobile and constant nuisance calls from this number.

same happening to me since i changed my mobile network to 3 but just add numbers to my auto reject calls list.

calls every morning and every evening.
