Report a phone call from 01159330500 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Sharon| 1 replyHad a call at 5pm today from this number and the caller just hung up, I am also a specsaver's customer
- WorthingYep - they just called me at 14.53 and it just fell silent.
My last order was cancelled as they couldnt find my presciption so I've reordered and it's still not arrived. - Ann01159330500
This is a specsavers cold calling number from a Nottingham call centre office If you have been a customer they have your name and details on a database BUT there is nowhere on the NHS eye forms where customers are given the opportunity to opt out of junk mail etc under the data protection act so I am writing a complaint and reporting them to the Telephone preference service as I am listed as not wanting junk mail or cold calling phone calls
The manager is Jonathan George
address Cirrus House
Experian Way
Nottingham
NG2 1EP- Caller: SPECSAVERS Nottingham
- MSI'm a specsavers user too - got the call, and they immediately hung up - had to run out of a meeting !
- Caller: Nottingham
- zebedeeThis number called today , as soon as I said hello, it disconnected.
So I called back and a very nice sounding lady said she was on reception.at specsavers.
I don't have the heart to have a go at a pleasant sounding apologetic lady.
I am a specsavers customer, but perhaps not for much longer as I hate unsolicited phone calls.- Caller: Specsavers
- Call type: Telemarketer
- RonAnnonying as hell. No way for any group of professionals to act, or aspire to be associated with. Whatever your role if you choose to align yourself with this company, you are associated by the good and the bad.
Seeing as I did NOT sign up for any competition, or anything else, but continue to be harrassed by the company (and it is harrassment by any definition), I have taken the liberty to search for the said competition, and fill in the names and numbers of some of the local branch managers (ie store numbers). I have also attempted to put the number they are calling from lol and the free number...don't think it will work - whether they will have an automated filter, or just some non-brain dead staff - but the point is...anyone can put anyone elses random number into databases...so stop f***ing harassing people and then justifying it by suggesting it is clear cut that they have made an enquiry! c**ts!- Caller: Specsavers - nonces
- Call type: Telemarketer
- MichelleThanks everyone-I tend to not answer my mobile to unknown numbers but being a specsavers customer, will do so if they ring again!!
- GrangerYup, just got a silence call, then it hung up. Very annoying.
Having said that, I just called them back 5 times with the mute button on, listened to them answer ........."hello Specsavers, how may I help you? .........hello Specsavers, how may I help you?".
I then hung up.
Childish? Maybe, but it made me feel a bit better. Actually, I'm going to do it again..............

Excellent!- Caller: Specsavers
- jezzy replies to RosieYes, I have had a call from 01159330500 and yes they dont leave a message. Possibly a automated call system, they may ring off when you answer if there are no agents there end to take the call.
Not a fan of these systems, however the best cause of action in my opinion is to add the number to your address book naming it "DO NOT ANSWER", that way eventually they will class your number as a unused number and take you off their call list
Calling people like this should be band, but companies make alot of money selling our numbers to other companies. - Shezza01159330500
Yep, i got several 'drop' calls with silence. My daughter was a contact lens customer. I'm phoning the local branch now to complain! - Alexandra replies to SharonReceived a call from this number at 6.30pm tonight (Friday) stating that it was Specsavers chasing up an amendment to my account and direct debit with them; something that I had recently done. They provided me with my full name, prescription details as well as my bank sort code and account number, only asking for postcode and date of birth as confirmation that they were speaking to me. Call lasted a couple of minutes and was relevant to my account. All seems to be bona-fide as they provided me with nearly all the information, albeit 6.30pm on a Friday was an unusual time to call, rousing my suspicions enough to try phoning them back - rang twice, seemed to be answered and then cut-off (sounded automatic rather than by a human), and then of course to google the number. Glad that the Specsavers theme is consistent.
- 158| 1 replyThey have just phoned me it rang twice and hung up - got any ideas ????
- dazyep, me too. but on the plus side, the lady I just called at ss was rather nice. you know how we all put a face to the voice.... oh er....lol.
- ttThere's definitely a Specsavers Direct Debit theme going on. The lady who called only asked me to confirm the first line of my address to make sure she was talking to the right person and asked about my DD with them. She had correct information but the reason she called was sorted out a year ago, and she didn't know why my account had ended up with her team. She was polite and apologised for taking my time.
I had a similar call two months ago and I wonder if some accounts are being "recycled" and are being called several times. I know this happens due to no fault of the call centre staff (used to be one).- Caller: Specsavers
- DanI've recently left Specsavers so I imagine they are after my business... I don't answer such calls.
- Caller: Unknown
- GoddersI have a phone call from that number everyday since xmas! they only want to know why i left them!! Cheek would never go back, going into my local branch to dissuade others ot use them!
wouldnt use them again- Caller: Specsavers
- Graeme thomThis is specsavers i phoned them up and instead of waiting in a queue they said they would call back and they phoned back on this number!
- Caller: Specsavers
- Call type: Event reminder
- ccc replies to 158I called back and the answer machine said it was specsavers
- Ray| 1 replyWhose number is this?
- jo replies to Rayit is specsavers and the reason they ring from Nottingham is because it is where their head office is.
