To complain you've had 6,7 or 8 calls from these guys is Moronic, what you actually mean is they've TRIED to make contact 6,7 or 8 times, have you actually spoken to somebody 6,7 or 8 times?... Well?, Mr intelligent, Obviously somebody will keep ringing your phone until it's answered, So why not use that brain, Answer the phone first time & simply say "ADD ME TO YOUR DO NOT CALL LIST". Understand it's your own fault you're on a calling list, They don't just imagine your Credentials... & because YOU FAILED to read the small print when providing your details TPS is rendered useless.

I agree with what you are saying about not answering their calls, but to suggest that adding yourself to the DO NOT CALL list will stop these calls is somewhat naive. You only have to read the comments on this site for verification that the DNC list is utterly useless.

To get that insulting to an anonymous "someone" based on a notion that you've no basis to work on, is stupid and hugely ignorant.

When did you find out that they had or hadn't spoken to somebody 6 or 7 times? The fact that they know it is More Than suggests that in fact, they have spoke to them. If that's the case, then they're well within their rights to complain.

They will disregard it when you say "add me to your 'do not call list". they either wait a short period before calling again, or call from another company name that they own. They will never delete your information because it is deemed as "an open, potential claim" until the 3 years elibility period ends.

If you talking about being on a calling list because someone has forgotten to tick "do not contact" or "third party contact" boxes, they ignore if they are ticked or not. if there is a number, they ring it.

These muppets seem to phone my house almost every day and I'm getting fed up of it. When I did pick it up there was no-one on the other end? Tried ringing them back but got the speel about "we're sorry we missed you but we'll get you again later" - I'd rather they didn't.

I finally got to speak to these lot today - they were trying to sell me accident insurance - were most insistent even when I told them I'd already got free accident insurance via the union but they did eventually relent.. I'm just hoping that's the end of the saga but after my recent experiences with Norton (see my posts under 01709303702) I'll not be holding my breath?

Certainly not an English as a first language speaking female voice. Said they were from.BT but the line wasn't so good and they then hung up when I informed them of this.
