- GrahamCalled me on Friday from Bournemouth on 01202-585513 about a pension backed loan which sounded odd as I'd not asked about one ever! Played along and asked who they were and they said www.pensionbackedloans.co.uk Asked which company that was and they said F S Resourcing Limited. Polite but became edgy and evasive when I queried how the loan precisely worked or who provided it so I made a mental note to look them up because it sounded like a scam. According to their website they are also using 020 8133 1548 (a greater London number).
So there you have it, be careful...

For the third week we return to the growing crime of persuading people to transfer their pension savings into recently registered pension schemes and taking huge fees for illegally letting them have some of their money back. This week - the legal aspects. Is the law adequate to help trustees stop the transfer when they suspect a scam? And if not, will the Government pass new laws to protect desperate people from the crooks - and themselves? We speak to a pensions lawyer and Pensions Minister Steve Webb.
