Report a phone call from 01214243333 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- plug| 1 replyJust received a call from this number also, never left a message, if it's important they will get back in touch again or send a letter, so I am not going to worry.
- Craig| 1 replyHad a call about 10 min ago. Answered it and the lady asked for me by my full name. I get a lot of calls about PPI and other people trying to sell things so I pretend to be someone else and say I'm not in so they will tell me who they are and if I want to speak to them I will explain. However she did not want to tell me anything or leave a message so she hung up. I entered the number on google and found this site and from a previous post I called Heartlands Hospital who said the number ending 3333 could not be called back and that I would have to call the hospital on Monday.
- Caller: Heartlands Hospital
- Call type: Event reminder
- Michael| 2 repliesThey're still at it, 1/3/12, for no reason I can guess. Written complaint made.
- Heartlands Hospital replies to Michael| 1 replyThis is a presentation number from Heartlands, Solihul or Good Hope Hospitals, unfortunately it is not currently possible to present the number of the person who called you.
If you are called from this number the person ringing you will call you back or alternatively they may write to you. Please do not contact the Main Hospital number unless you know who called as the switchboard are not be able to identify who has called you - Michael replies to Heartlands HospitalWhat is a presentation number? Is it the same as a misrepresentation number? Whoever called me did not call me again, nor has anyone answered my written complaint. So who do we contact then, when this online reply is anonymous as well, come off it. This is only too typical on recent form, which in my case includes complaining of bogus claims to court orders, of death records vanishing, and of complaints ignored - which is why this particular one attracted me. I just found out the Chief Executive, to whom by name I was directed by the Coroner, was replaced about 18 months ago and nobody told me that either. I just sent the new one a repeat, failing which the P&HS Ombudsman have indicated they will take it on.
- pjsHeartlands or Good Hope hospital appointment system. Was told to phone 0121 424 1234 for their appointments desk. They sorted it out.
- Caller: Heartlands NHS
- Call type: Event reminder
- TJ TURNER| 1 replyYes, as everyone says, it's Heartlands Hospital Outpatients checking on an appointment time (& they say "message for Sara" etc. & "please ring Tracie on 424 7476" without saying what it's about, but there's never a reply) BUT they seem to be calling a lot of wrong numbers, so don't panic! - I did as the below suggested & rang Heartlands Hospital direct on 424 2000, whereupon I discovered they'd called me in error, as I'm not an outpatient of theirs (nor of Selly Oak nor any of the 4 hospitals covered by the number) - weird how they'd asked for me by my forename though! - Only explanation for this is that NHS records muddles are partly to blame.
- Caller: shared hospital outpatients number, including Heartlands & Selly Oak hospitals
- TJ TURNER replies to TJ TURNERPlease ignore my previous posting! - as they'd known my name, I tried the other number someone'd suggested, 424 1234, & got through to another "appointments" who took my date of birth & name & told me that I have an appointment for this Thursday at Heartlands (!) & that's why they'd rung me - they gave me another number to ring, 424 5000 (they explained this is the other number for the person on 424 7476). I eventually got through to that number & was told that my GP (they knew his name) had requested the appointment on my behalf, & he'd done this on the date of a letter I'd just received discharging me from the Women's Hosp at the QE, so the lady on the phone & I reckoned it was a duplication, made as my GP apparently hadn't been told my results & that I'd been discharged, & I cancelled the appointment so that they could give it to someone else. Main thing I'm saying is it wasn't a wrong number after all. If it helps, when I got through to the 424 5000, it was 4pm & they're open till 5pm.
- BlueboyGot a call from this Birmingham number ,I was out at the time but they didn't leave a message ....so it could not have been important then ..!!
- JR replies to SarahMostly it's a courtesy call to reming you of an upcoming appointment..
- Diane replies to marcellaThis is deffo the appointments line for Heartlands Hospital
- ChrisI worked in the NHS and we are not allowed to leave messages on the answer phone. It goes right against the confidentiality policy. I believe they try to contact you in order to arrange scans or change existing appointments with you. Sometimes phone numbers of patients are not recorded or changed and they can spend time chasing patients on old numbers. At other times the people that they are chasing do not exist because people very rarely steal identities or give false information. Sometimes patients cancel tests, scans and appointments last minute so they try to get people in to fill up clinics at short notice.
If they do not make contact they will send you a letter or leave your existing appointment as it is, its really nothing to worry about though as this number is only used for appointments etc and not to advise of accidents or emergencies. - Mr Ben Armstrong - CourtneyGetting a call to my phone all of a sudden? Suspect con man trying to find out if I am a vulnerable, and rip me off. Used contacts - call is acutual from abroad, but wired in to midlands number. Not that sophisticated, but clearly they are trying to sell, con or do something. I got a call a few months back stating my relative was involved in a car accident, and instead of giving me details on the person and the accident they started to fish me for information. Do not give your home number out to anyone - have a spare mobile for doing orders on line and so on, as companies sell your details and that is when the conment intercept.
- StaceI just had a call from 0121 424 3333 and it was Good Hope Hospital.

- HeatherI have been called the last 2 days from this number and like everyone else who has commented, they don't leave a message and you can't ring the number back.
I think I should be getting an appointment through for my daughter, but I haven't received a letter about any appointment.
I have an appointment myself coming up, but that is at Walsall Manor, so I don't think it's about that!

- LorraineI had numerous missed calls from this number on my return to the office this morning but when I tried ringing the number I just got a continuous tone. I have actually just receoved another call from them (I have called display) so I answered the call. However I answered the call with the name of the company and she just said "sorry, I've got the wrong number". If she calls again I won't say the company name and ask her who she is.
