- Fair Warning is law replies to Andrew| 1 replyFair warning is required by Business Bureaus around the world. When a contract with such steep requirements is enacted, the vendors must contact you and give you "fair warning" that the contract is about to roll-over.
The crowd at cnetwork and multimedia international are renowned for taking their chances with not providing all the information that is required to make an informed decision.
Several people have been told that the company will "contact you" before the roll-over becomes effective, just to make sure you are happy with how the ads are performing. Bah-Humbug. - Fred Kellie replies to ashWhat happens is, several people call if you have had many company names and the same number, because they have your number on a separate list as a different company. (this happens if you have taken the phone no from the previous leasee of the premises etc)
I used to work for a call center in Newcastle and we were given lists of numbers to call from, this often happened. Also it works best to answer their calls and if say whether you are interested or not, if you ignore them, or transfer them to answerphone, they will keep calling until they get a positive or negative response.
Would you like your customers to slam the phone down on you? Then don't do it to them. - Fred Kellie replies to Fair Warning is lawLots of people (particularly receptionists) refuse calls from call centers with scripted entry speeches. So they may be trying to contact you and get knocked away by a bolshie receptionist. I used to work for a call center in Newcastle and we got knocked back from the first line of the script, sometimes with very bitchy reception staff refusing to pass on important messages to anyone, one said "the only person im going to tell is the vending machine repairman, because i hate sales calls" then blew a raspberry and called me a lying thieving geordie scumbag. The call was not a sales call.
- school in worcestershireAnswered a call from this number caller identified herself as Petra from Priory Road Surgery, asking to speak to the Headteacher, wouldnt say what it was in connection with and was rude and wouldnt take no for an answer. This telemarketing company should not be phoning schools, particularly when they are on telephone preference service. Thankfully we have caller display and will not be answering the phone to them again.

- Laura NolanHi,
I was signed up to a contract like this, however I only signed up for a year....sadly I wish I had never met any of them, I have been through it all.....you cannot speak to the sales person who you dealt with, they are ether not allowed to give you their details or oh they now no longer work for the company as their mother was sick and they have left the Country. The Post Office I was advertising in has since May 2013 switched off the display and do not want the system in the shop. Since then they have relocated and I still do not have a working advert. I have loads of emails and conversations with them but allas I cannot get out of the contract let along find someone to speak to for legal advise (as I run a small business form home) that will not cost me an arm and a leg, or some advertising standard to complain to.

- seangHi to you all if anyone is contacted by this company i.e. phone or cold called just show them the door
it will save you a lot of money and time,I took out a contract with them on the understanding that I would have exclusivity for my type of business of which the salesman promise to me that they only have one slot for each type of business,it was a lie went to post office to see my ad and to my horror I was viewing my main rivals advert,I contacted cnetwork about this and was told that I did not have sole exclusivity for the ad,and there was nothing they could do I informed them to cancel this ad. and was told that I could not cancel for the two years,Be very careful they are cow-boys and be very aware of danny morley they lie just to get you to sign one of there dodgy contacts don't just close the door on this company, how they are still in business is a crime,- Caller: cnetwork

- Roryb replies to Very upset customer absoultelyI agree totally
- James R| 3 repliesDO NOT SIGN UP. i worked there for 2 month. The main reason I didn’t like the job, is i felt guilty if a firm payed money because they would get no return what so ever and get harrassed by mail, phone, email. Having the knowledge the product has no great effect for businesses, and these businesses would pay out thousands of pounds for a year, on a rolling contract and it just never worked for any of them. So to me it felt like a bit of a scam. I felt bad for them if they decided to advertise their services on screen because I knew it would make no difference to that firm apart from losing out, getting pressured by sales reps to sign for a year, no shorter, no trial period and if the firm did go ahead they would not gain enough custom to profit from the amount already given out to the community network. £1040 to £2080. Don’t get me wrong the concept and idea are great and yes its subliminal advertising but people just didn’t remember a company being marketed on a screen for 10 seconds in their local post office, of course there are exceptions but they are rare I felt. Plus its far too expensive. cowboys they are!! At the end of the day, people provide services and it’s up to us to choose what is right at that moment. This company does not seem to be [***] about your needs when they have got your cash and your tied in. They will just send emails and send letters warning of court action!! if your in a contract already do not pay, they will get sent packing by the small claims courts, too many occasions been their regarding the contracts. Just report them or go to their address.

- Craig replies to James R| 2 repliesThanks for the post on the post office scammers!! My wife got us signed up! Is there any way out if this!! If I don't pay them am worried about it going against us when getting mortgages etc thanks Craig
- Steve replies to Craig| 1 replyI doubt that any of the Credit Agencies would work with a Company like this. So if I were you, I wouldn't worry about it.
Contracts have to be fair under English Law, and I doubt that this bunch of crooks would chance their arm in Court.
Treat them with the contempt they deserve. - Craig replies to SteveThanks for reply. Is there anyone who's not paid the scum bags?
