- Charlotte RI had a voicemail from this number saying 'just forget it, just forget it now' and repeated it a few times..there were some people talking like they are outside somewhere..the man sounded quite young then he hung up, he sounded like he was from my area, but not the same area code so when i rung back it was a total different accent and this woman was from GM Connect..oh and my network is Orange!
- Caller: GM Connect
- leannephones witheld asking when my contract is up then phoned again the same day asking how much i pay, and thyve also phones twice today
- HesterHad a missed call of this number- 01254277054
- abbeythis number has been called several times, never been able to pick cos they call during work hours. i'm also on the 3network so its has to be some of their staff having a good time on their customer. its really frustrating
- AmberJust had a call from this company earlier today - they sure do seem busy! Didn't answer cos the number didn't look familiar. I've just tried calling them back which was answered "Welcome to GM Connect" held on for 5 minutes to music (not bad) and then had an automated number telling me agents were all busy. If they call again I will simply ignore them but if it persists I'll expect I'll be back on the buzzer to Vodafone telling them to sort it out!
- Caller: GM Connect

- JakeI had several calls from this number and they didn't say anything. Then, about the fourth time, there was this guy who offered to upgrade my existing mobile phone contract (which is with Vodaphone, but now that I think about it he never actually said where he was from). Stupidly, I gave him some of my details. Can I report this to the police or something? Surely it is illegal to take people's information under false pretences.
- Natalie JoannouThey dont talk they just hung up, they have called me 4 times now in the past 24 hours, im getting really annoyed! who are they and why wont they stop!!! I called back and there was an automated message saying "welcome to gm..."
- Caller: GM something i think
- ChrisTo remove your number from their database:- Wait on the line until an agent speaks to you. Immediately ask to speak to the Supervisor. Always be polite but firm. Ask for the supervisor's full name and contact details. Tell the Supervisor that their company is making unsolicited sales calls and that you do not wish to receive their calls. Tell them that they are to remove your number from their database immediately. If there is any objection tell them that you will make a formal complaint to Ofcom about the company. (www.ofcom.org.uk) Do not take any excuse or redirection. Do not agree to phone "customer services".
They should then contact you once more to say that they have removed your number.
There is no benefit to them in keeping a number that you do not want to do business with. It is in their interest to remove your number. - Gail2008-09-13 13:16:13
I missed the call the first two times they rang, one of which was in the middle of the night. The third call was on an afternoon and as i answered i was met by someone saying 'give us all your f***ing money' in the background! Obviously i was very angry and didn't hesitate to tell them so and the caller promptly apologised like the childish little prat he clearly is. I thought that would be the end of it but have just recieved another phone call and when i answered there was nobody there.I've just discovered this website and it seems very apparent that these planks has far too much time on their hands and should be ignored. - FionaThey just called me, said they were from "3 network". I asked were they got my mobile number from and they said a database, I told them to take me off of it. They asked me on more question regarding how long my mobile contract was for I said 16 months and its free.
- Caller: 3 network
- DebbieThey just called me again - so I rang the number given in one of the earlier posts (can't remember who posted it but thanks for the details) - anyway spoke to some woman on 01254 693392 who wanted to know my name in order to remove my number from the database - does she think I'm stupid?! - told her it was my number that needed removing so she didn't need my name. Gave me my number and she said "I'll pass that on" - and when I asked her to confirm that meant I'd get no more calls from 01254277054 her response was "that's not a number I'm familiar with" - told her if she couldn't find the info within her company perhaps she'd care to check out the internet?!
Anyway I threatened reporting them to Ofcom a couple of times so am hoping it's done the trick - fingers crossed.
Btw - I'm with Vodafone and always have been so this doesn't seem to be network specific - and I've never used the Carphone Warehouse either.
