Had a missed call too. Called it back. . It's a debt collector.

got several calls from company, but never leave message, when call back is debt collection company CARS. I believe brought debt from Fitness First. Reports say quite heavy handed company and got one letter from them saying "We have found You"- Bring it On!!!!!

i get calls from these all the time it is c.a.r.s debt recovery they're trying to get me to pay for swiftcover car insurance i cancelled the policy in the last 2 months and they want the outstanding balance (take me to court cos they're not getting a penny out of me with the way swiftcover treat me),
they use many other numbers aswell and ive had a call from a mobile dont get caught out 07802921940 if anymore ring i'll post the number

Yes, I've had the same experience. They've been bugging me about a cancelled insurance policy (Post Office Car Insurance) I cancelled the policy after they tried to screw me over a mistake THEY made with my No-Claims Bonus. Likewise, I told them they won't see a penny from me and that I'd see them in court.

I have had several missed calls from 01256 306910 and 07724 366205 and also 07714 706196. I believe these all to be from a debt collection agency for a debt in the name of Ricardo Frizzle (is that even a real name)???!!!!

just got a call from these C.A.R.S people also they are chasing for payment for a fitness first contract that had finished as i had some health problems... went and spoke to the manager at fitness first and he said you just need to cancell the installments otherwise they will still take your money.... done that and get about 30 calls per week for about the last month and a half.... numbers they are using on me are....07714 706196 and 01256 306910

01256306910 - it's CARS (debt collector). They also use various mobile number's as well, Pretty sure they are acting for Budget Car Insurance in my case (who I found to be totally useless & a rip-off).

What happened after that ?

They're just another Mickey Mouse dca. Ignore them. They have no powers.

I received calls from these DCA and now have them saved a W**** so that I can ignor the calls.

Budget car insurance ripping me off too
Last year I made a claim against the guy who smashed into my car! But they never paid out to either party!
My car broke a few weeks later so I cancelled the insurance! I get letters saying I owe the remaining amount on the policy as there's been a claim! Yet the other party admitted liability and no claim was made or paid out to me!
What a joke!
I have evidence of the other party admitting liability, offering me £250 to avoid putting it through insurance! 20 or so witnesses as the accident happened outside a camping club of which I am a member!
Budget claim the other party are now disputing liability, yet i rung the other party up and he still hasnt claimed! I hope they take this further as I will make an ass out of them in court!

Keep getting calls over a £10 debt from an online DVD company... I have returned the DVD - wierdos....

They do use mobiles and don't leave messages - I'm ignoring it - they give up after a while....

I got a call from these after cancelling an insurance policy they said a claim had ben made on the policy and they are demanding that the payment must be paid in full !!!!  its very stange that the car insurance copmpany havent been in touch to advise that the opther party have made a claim?

I owed £21.37 to Halifax Car Insurance, which I have now paid direct to Halifax.  I won't deal with this CARS company as they're a set of "knobheads".  Anyway, I paid direct so I don't have to.  They can ring as much as they like, I never answer any phone number I don't recognise anyway whether it's a mobile number or not. If it's not listed in my phone as someone I know I don't answer.

These people are so rude. They keep harassing me they call my phones asking for stupid name then they send letter saying that i owe them, only to find out they are debt collectors  £35  three mobile. They are so rude!!
