Phoned and when I aswered it hung up.

I received a phone call 13july 4.30pm I find this person (its a women) she very rude, she ask me to get a pen and paper to write a new contact number for domestic and General for my washing machine. I said to her I did not call d & g nothing wrong with it. She reply to me...  in aggressive manner "what did I say to you!!!! What number did I gave you!!  What did I said to you!! Because I don't  like the tone of her voice I am very cross and I told her... no need to talk to me like that and please don't ever call again.
I dial the 1471 and it's  the number 01273384442 I want to talk to someone but no answer (from human) it's answering machine and gave another to call 08004584617 d&g survey I put the phone down..  few minutes later the phone ringing again and it's the D&G again in deffirent number 02033182788
I put the phone down...  not very happy because I work night's and I am resting

Called today, (30-7-15) didn't recognise number and wouldn't normally answer except we were waiting an important call and just picked it up.......some guy, English, asked for me by name said he was dealing with my Television repair? told him my TV was in good order he then said it was a courtesy call, told him i needed to clear the phone line and he said i will call back another day....didn't mention what company he represented but my TV repairs are done by D&G, so i assume it was these people who cold called me

This number keeps calling every half hour wish they would 'do one'

Just had call but they hung up as I answered. My no is ex directory. Get lots of cold calling calls but this is the first from this number

This number has called twice a day for the last 3 days,and I am on Telephone preference service.

They called me today. I didn't answer.

Surprise surprise the number that I blocked is different from this one.
Number blocked is 01603513076, strange Eh !

After reading some comments on here, I think that it could possibly be D&G cold calling. We recently had our washing machine repaired through them about 2 weeks ago and it seems like a bit of a coincidence.
A nuisance to say the least, as this number has rang twice today.

Answer the call and there's nobody there

This number are calling themselves Domestic & General. They are trying to sell insurance on your items that you are already insured on. They told me my one years insurance on my cooker was running out which is rubbish as I'm already insured on a 8 year insurance with whirlpool. Do not be fooled by these people and always check with the company you purchased your items about insurance. I've blocked the number and I suggest everyone does the same unless you want to pay double insurance on items your already insured on. Dirty scum bag rats are all they are.

Nobody at other answers at other end.

Hi guys. I work for this company so I just wanted to clarify a couple of things. Yes, it is a sales call but we only call existing customers so we're not going to be rude. (We record all our calls so if anyone is rude they'll be dealt with don't worry!) If you don't answer the call, your number just goes back into the system and you'll receive another call so it's best to answer and if you're not interested just politely tell them so we don't call again. If you say you don't want to receive any more calls we're legally obliged to remove your number.
Also I don't think tps would prevent this kind of call because it's for existing customers? Ex directory won't prevent any kind of sales or marketing call as it just takes you out of the phone book.
I can appreciate it's annoying to receive calls like this but it does create jobs for people and it's better than stacking shelves for minimum wage in this economic climate! Also a lot of our customers do benefit from it, even if it's not useful for everyone.
