this number has rung me 5 times today already and its not even 1pm!

Have received 2 calls today after late afternoon did not pick up as I do not recognise the number.

Rang today at 7.10pm!!! Didn't pick up as I didn't recognise the number, any ideas?

since my last comment 16.10.09 this number has phoned many times.  The last time was Friday November 6th.  I have still not answered.

I have just found the following information on the web.
Company name is Simplysure in Cirencester GL7 5XL.  Health Services / Insurance.  I phoned the number and got a message saying that an advisor would be with me shortly, then music played so I hung up.

Had more than 10 calls yesterday from this number. Left my mobile at home today and when I got back there were 15 missed calls and that was just up until 4pm. They've rung again 3 times since then - the last time at around 7pm. OK, you could say 'why don't I just answer it?', but these types of calls really irritate me.  The only way I really feel like I'm making a stand is by not answering - let them waste their time, effort and money. How dare they make me believe that maybe I had inherited a huge amount of money and that the underwriters werte desperately trying to contact me.....If even for just one second....How dare they?

I made one simple enquiry on a website re health insurance, and mistakenly put my mobile number on there.  This number now calls me at least 10 times per day, anytime during working hours and in the evenings, and has been doing so now for 2 weeks including Sundays.

Yup same, left my phone at home and had 20 (yes 20) calls between 0930 and 1930.

Yes I am looking for health insurance, but now not from these clowns - they shoudl have simply left a message.

I have been repetitively been called by this number and the callers don't seem to give up. I did'nt anawer the phone call and instead typed the number into my google to find the above very helpful comments. I'm sick of continuously being bobarded with phone calls and e-mails from people and companies that are out for themselves. I don't know where they got my number from and am putting it down to competitions that i have in the past participated in online. Competitions promising great possibilities of either a new car or a years's supply of free Mac makeup. Whilst entering such competitions it is mandatory for you to submit a working telephone number and email address (as i've tried to insert a fake mobile number-& they just won't let you finish the entry page/form) Please keep your details private and all these competitions and promotions are not promoted for you to win, but instead for such annoying organisations to get the details of people they feel can be manipulated into thinking they gonna win or get some freebies. Remember you really never get anything for nothing- somebody always wants something in return (apart from our lovely parents :)

request a insurance quote from moneysupermarket.com if I remember correctly, and then have this number calling me since. I did answer them once and said I no longer needed your quote. they stop calling frequently (several ties a day), but occasionally (once a month).

I made an enquiry on a website for health insurance and left my mobile number too!!  They have called me at least half a dozen times a day since. I got some call blocking software on my mobile and now, although they continue to call, my phone never rings when it's them but just logs the call :-)

they called me about insurance

called 3 times today and 5 times yesterday who is it that needs to call me so many times.... to sell me what???

I was receiving around 10 calls a day.  I eventually answered and spoke to one of their staff.  I worked in an insurance call centre part time whilst at university and worried about the credentials of the person on the other end of the phone - didn't really use compliant terms or ask the right questions.  I am an educated professional and felt like I was being sold a car.  The lad was describing medical conditions that he clearly didn't understand.  Cowboys!

yep same  here  made one enq just for an online  quote,  and the  phone  has not stopped  ringing whats  wrong  with  a msg  being left !!! and i still  didnt  get my quote  for health  ins .

I have the same problem. Made the mistake of leaving my number with USAY and nw seem to get call from Simplysure - so they did pass my details onto another company - that is not legal.

The best way to deal with these clowns is we all fill in online enquires with bogus details and let their system go to meltdown as they will have a database full of usless data mixed with data from people who enquired. That will teach them not to cold call and also use data they have not collected.

This number has left me 37 missed calls this week. I rarely access my mobile during office hours and had 9 missed calls in the space of 2 hours last friday. I now live abroad so have no intention of calling back and being charged ridiculous amounts. They even call at weekends. They do not even leave a voicemail.

These guys are idiots and don't even know what they are talking about!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!! Buy direct from the insurers if you need health insurance, they are much more highly trained and not run by monkey's!
