Call from this number today saying they were from crime prevention offering free alarm system.  Who are they? Someone else called back but I cut them off.

Man offering allegedly free burglar alarm, with free installation, free maintenance.Expessed [potential interest.  Someone else would therefore call. This happened moments later and was answered by my husband.  It was from a mobile phone. The above was confirmed : the system was wireless and could also be used to report health scares.  There would be a one-off charge depending on what a survey of the property showed. It was not possible to say how much before the survey.Asked for written details but this was not possible.  Someone could call that afternoon.  

The offer was declined.

Had a call from this number and thought I would check what company it was, on this website.  I have a phone which shows what number is calling. I NEVER answer the phone if I don't recognise the number or if the number is withheld or unknown. Just let it ring; you don't have to pick up the handset! Friends who are ex-directory or legitimate callers, e.g.hospital or G.P., will leave a message and I can get back to them.

This is getting past a joke

This one and one about windows and doors "scrappage" as well as the Computer Con about Windows. Called him a crook and he went.  

3 calls in less than two hours

Called twice by this bogus lot. Hung up as they wanted to solict my name from the outset. They rang back being agressive and hectoring. Hung up again. Have placed a remote trace on the line with some specialised software that locates the caller to within 50m worldwide. Have also reported to my telephone line provider and the police. Highly distressing as we just had familiy bereavement earlier today.

I got an uninvited phone call from someone this afternoon from this number. I did not want to speak to them. When I hung up they phoned me back and were really rude. This is a complete invasion of my privacy. I did not invite them into my home and do not expect to have abusive calls in this manner from someone who chooses to remin anonymous at the other end of the phone.

Report the call to the Information Commissioner's Office.  It's easy to do via their website and you don't need the caller's name, only the 'phone number.  It does say, have you reported it to the TPS, if you are not registered with TPS, don't worry, just say you have.  There is a question on the list which says "Did the call cause alarm..."  As this person was so abusive tick that box.

Was called by this number on 08/05/2014.They. gave me a yarn about security. I asked what they were selling
and was told they were selling nothing. I then hung up and, was immediately called back and asked if I had dropped
the phone. I told caller he was not as smart as I had taken him for as in his line of work he should realise when people
hang up. I the explained I pay to have sale intercepted and was an EX directory number I then hung up again, only
to have this cretin call again. This time I ignored the call. They claim to be a Security company @ 0141 889 0750

As far as I know they are still in business but have moved to their own premises.
I got tons of calls from 01418890750 over recent years & last year from 07885911343 from the same girl.
She made a right pain of herself and refused to stop calling me when I told her I was TPS registered and don't buy from cold callers e.
