Also received a call from 01423 567664.  Here's some advice for you, if after you've said "Hello" and there's a gap of more than two seconds then hang up (which is what I did).  The likelihood is that your number has been dialled by a computer system and the caller is only informed when YOU answer, hence the gap. If it was a friend (or at least a company who doesn't use automatic dialling) they'd have responded in that time.

I have had several silent phone calls ( I can never obtain the number) but this time I picked up but was silent, the other end was silent too for about two minutes, then they hung up. The same number as you 01423 567664

just had a call from 01423504689 3 times in 2 minutes. hung up first time and they called straight back.

I missed a call from 01423 560230 so being a decent human being I tried to call back, the number was "temporarily disconnected". I tried again from a landline, using 141 before the number, again the call could not be connected. I hope the spineless b******d phones again and would like to meet my fists

I keep getting calls to my mobile from 014233648537.   they, fortunately only let it ring two or three times before hanging up - I say fortunately, because I am abroad at the moment and would be paying a fortune to answer these calls.   I'm assuming they hang up when they hear the foreign ring tone.  Googled it which brought me to this site - and what a surprise, seems the calls might be about ppi!

Basically in your contract to your mobile phone O2 orange etc etc there is small print which states they can sell your number on to see company's - the 01423 number is a spoof but it isn't insureance /loans/ sports / sales people type company's buy the number to a "business" in harrogate or specific area to you and run a link between them and that number so thinking there in harrogate or uk but there not as its thru a server allowing them to that'

.....received a missed 04123 call...phoned back and an answerphone informed me they were a 'Claims Company'...usually people chasing your accident even when it was a only a scrape in a supermarket car park.....

I received a call from 04123 456789 about PPI for a loan. Clearly a scam as I have never had a loan with PPI. They did have my correct name and address, which is a bit unsettling. They were very specific about the amount of money so clearly a scam to get more details off me. I'm registered with TPS which has made no difference. My advice, ignore any 04123 (not to be confused with 014...).

if your tps  registered and you been online  putting your number in then you are allowed to still get calls as i have been round everything about this so there is nothing you can do about tht n this calls are annoying me

Had a call about 12 0 clock 01423 782870 keep getting calls asking for Mrs Barry which is unsettling,the people are usually Indian sounding and have asked for my son by name as well

judging from comments l've read l think this is a SCAM caller. As l picked up my receiver msge said "we will connect you to your caller" which tells me l will be paying for the call. it went to voice mail but no msge was left.
