i keep getting calls from this nuber

This number calls me all day everyday, when I try to call it back, its just rings and rings

rang my mobile, tried ringing back someone picked then hung up

do i have to get it touch with the police or a private investigator or my calicitor because i am a bt customer amd bt wont help me .due to the data protection act .but i is ok for them to ring me up and hang up and then not answer the call and bt wont let me know who it is

KEEP CALLING MY LANDLINE NUMBER WHEN IM AT WORK AND ASKING FOR ME BUT I HAVE NO IDEA WHO THEY ARE AS THEY DON'T LEAVE ANY INFORMATION WITH THE PERSON ANSWERING THE PHONE, JUST SAY THEY WILL CALL BACK LATER.
THEY ONLY RING THE PHONE 4 TIMES SO MOST TIMES THE CALL IS MISSED.

WISH I COULD GET ALL THESE CALLS STOPED.

This number has started calling me and it's doing my head in. I'm thining of asking BT for me to go ex-directory. I'm sick of marketing companies calling me all the time. If I want to buy somethign I will go out and buy it, I dont need some numpty trying to convince me I need things.

These are the people likely to hold our telephone numbers. I stupidly found a website that claimed to protect my telephone number from sales and marketing calls and gave the number and my name. It say in their privacy section part 3.0 it says that anywhere you fill in your details where the securerights logo appears then we are effectively giving them the right to call us about life insurance and any other 'offer' they may wish to make us.

Obviously, we don't need ANYTHING that they offer us.

As I have said, I searched for a company that could reduce the amount of calls, which resulted in my calls increasing four-fold. Most inconvenient. I am however please with what I have read here on this site. Should I decide to answer their calls I will have to confidence to deal with them appropriately. I am also emailing securerights.org to see if they will stop the calling of my house phone. Note to oneself, I will not be giving them my number unless they confirm they are using it. I am also giving them an email address that I no longer use very often DUE TO SPAM! My search no goes on to the company that took my details originally, due to my stupidity, (from not reading their terms and conditions), and look to have them remove me as well. If all fails I will consider the TFS mentioned above:

and lastly, try and find the company who I wished to stop receiving calls from in the first place, a facebook advertisement, I would like to add, who I simply do not want to speak with at this moment in time.

[***] called Premium Genie phoned me and I'm ex directory and they even asked for my partner instead who has a different surname! They prefer to call women and think they are gullible and more inclined to give all their details over the phone to strangers! Thick [***]! I instantly blocked them with my BT Privacy telephone number blocker! Simple! Well worth the premium on my line rental! Idiots like these even use withheld number dialups to get hold of you but BT Privacy still traces it and blocks it! Get it folks if you're on BT and frustrate these tossers and put them out of business if they can't behave in a decent manner!

Phoned me to and I live in Scotland!!!!

Just had phone call from this premium genie, Funny as I was on this site looking them up. suprise was the word ,when I  tolled the young lady who she was from, that she was wasting her time, to delet my datails and confim it. half heart laught from her as she knew, I knew, In end she did say details would be deleted,

This number 01477536255 has called me 3 times in 2 days on my mobile and twice on my landline, when I answer they hang up and if I don't they won't leave a message on the answer phone. If I ring back it just rings and rings. It's very annoying as I don't know where they have got my numbers from as I don't give my numbers out unless I know who they are. If they don't want to speak to me then don't fooking ring me !!!!!!!!!

this number keeps ringing my home someone is there but wont speak very frustrating as im disabled and fed up with getting up to answer with no reply

hi, the number is from a company called premium genie,they are a pain,i know

They have called me twice today, first rang off when I picked up, 2nd hung up when I said hello back to them.  I filled in a form on Compare The Market but decided to stay with my original insurers when the old policy expired TWO MONTHS AGO.  Wasting their own time as well as mine.

Thought I'd try the "friendly" approach and call them to ask them to remove me from their database; no reply!
