They told me I'd filled in a survey at asda or Tesco and I expressed an interest in life insurance. I told them I had done no such thing and I have no interest in buying anything from anyone over the phone. They just said ok and that was that... However, they still keep ringing so I barred their number on my phone.

I got a telephone call from this number but didn't answer.  Having read all of your comments I won't answer.  Thanks for sharing guys

they dont need to have a filled application form to call you i have found out after some arguments with them that bt had sold them my phone number when i told them i wasnt with bt .

there easy to deal with, just tell them that your number is a phone box on the street and tell them to ferk off. lol, they will remove your number. hahaha

same here! They are a menace I am rejecting them on my mobile now!

I have been getting calls from this number on a daily basis. I decided to answer today to find out what they wanted, yes they are Premium Genie and said that it was in responce to a survey that I had completed. Time wasters - do not answer them. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

do not hang up, just leave them talking to themselves and nip back 5 mins later and put the receiver on the hook, IT WORKS' no more calls after 3 times doing this.

this number rings me a few times of day never anybody there

I've found the best policy with these telesales calls is just to ignore the numbers if you have caller I.d, anyone ringing that's important will leave a message, by ignoring these numbers, it flags up on a database as a "non answered number" and eventually drops off the lists, therefore the calls gradually diminish. Answering unknown numbers actually fuels the telesales call lists therefore they can but only escalate.
