Practically a mirror image of yours changed to Ovo and even though I have a card meter and have had all the time I've lived here SP reckon I owe them £140 odd pounds even though they cant find out why. They keep ringing me on my mobile then hanging up If I did that it'd be harassment !

Exact same as me! Final bill paid in August, account closed and credit given back and now I supposedly owe them £204 in January when I haven't lived in the property for 5 months!

If Scottish Power play their games, don't waste time or effort, just complain straight away to the  Energy Ombudsman http://www.ombudsman-services.org/energy.html           It will probably quicker than waiting for Scottish Power to sort themselves out.

Had a nightmare with Scottish Power. Gave final meter readings mid July for both Gas and Elec, by beginning of Sept i still hadn't received any bill so i called them to chase. They sent me out an estimated gas bill (no elec) when i'd given them actual readings. I called again, they then sent me out a further 5 estimated bills, all wrong, still no elec bill, i called them again. I finally received a correct gas bill, with actual readings. This was paid within a day of receiving. I then had to continue chasing for an elec bill. After 2 estimated bills and numerous calls, i finally received the correct bill. This was paid but i am now being chased by them for payment of the incorrect bills they sent me!!!! The left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. I won't be using them again.

The most dishonest money grabbing supplier going. I left because they refused point blank to return an overpayment. Now they're chasing a non-debt they created from figures they made up. They can keep chasing, it ain't being paid.
AVOID at all cost. Untrustworthy, dishonest, unreliable thieving scum.

These people at scottish power are the worse suppliers you could use . They threatened me with a letter to break in to my flat for a safety check on my pre-pay meter , replaced a seal and charged me £60
i then switched to ovo energy , only to get pestered by collection agency for a bill already paid, stay well clear of this outfit if you can

I have received texts and calls from this number harassing me for a debt collection, and they left me a voicemail that sounded like a lady yelling in a crowded bus. I know for a fact it takes a minimum of 15 minutes on hold to get through to customer services at Scottish Power (a friend of mine had so much trouble dealing with them), so it was a HUGE red flag when I got through straight away. Not at any point did they use my name, so it is clear all they have is a call-list of people to harass. The man on the phone was rude and seemed to not understand that someone who has EDF as a supplier DOES.NOT.OWE Scottish Power anything. This is quite clearly a scam to get personal information, so don't answer these calls.

This was a missed call from Scottish Power debt collection agency. I too have left SP because of their abysmal customer service and their total inability to function as a viable company. I called them back, and they answered immediately!!!! Maybe they should put these dudes on the customer service lines? He told me that my account was zero, so couldn't suggest a legitimate reason why I might have received the call. Total amateurs!!!

This number has been calling me since the beginning of January 2016 and sending me text messages asking me to pay my final bill. My account was closed in Jan 15 and paid up to date in March 15. I called SP in December as I had received an email saying it was going to debt collection. I called them to be told my account was closed and at a nil balance, I was promised I would not be further hassled. I then received a text and numerous missed calls from this number claiming to be SP looking for me to confirm my details. I called SP on 0800 number and was passed from person to person on a 47 min call to be told again my account was closed and no money was outstanding. I was told to ignore these calls in future. Today I have received 2 calls again and when I called them back they told me the address did not match what they had on the system. Funny as the account number was matched to the address I was living at and gave them. They also stated that as I didn't want to continue the call then they could not access my details until I had passed the data protection check. I emailed SP today with a complaint and they have confirmed in writing I have a nil balance. I have blocked the number however they advised they would not stop calling me. Harassment I would call it. I will be reporting the number to TS. Fuming is an understatement.

call claiming i owed money from a PRE-PAYEMENT METER.    EMERGENCY CREDIT IS ONLY £5      how they came you with 49 and pennies..     asked me to call back with details and current address.   if they were legit they would already know my current details considering they are claiming to be scottish power!!   total SCAM

Repeatedly receiving calls when I answer get cut off I have been in dispute with them thought it was getting sorted

Scottish power collection so they say, I moved property last May informed SP at the time, to take out pre-payment meters. Which was done after a lot of phone calls.
Then SP decided to open new accounts in my name for the property I no longer lived in, but sent the bills to my new address. after many emails and telephone calls they have finally told me that all accounts have been closed this was at the end of Dec, then today the text and phone calls start again (NUMBER BLOCKED) SP Really rubbish with customer service but fantastic at harassing people who don't owe them anything,
Been with Sainsbury’s energy since I moved property, not had a minute’s problem always helpful if I contact them.
Will never use SP again

I rang the number back and it is Scottish Power debt collection.  I moved to OVO in March 2016 following appalling service from Scottish Power.  My complaint ended up with the Ombudsman and even they SP continued to mess things up.  I setlled my bill with them but now they are claiming I owe them £370, which I know I don't.  I'm not worried because they are a bunch of [insert appropriate word here].  I told them I was blocking their number and they should put they're claims in writing.  Wow can't wait!

I have had numerous calls from this numher - 6 today and many others. Nobody speaks when I answer which is always suspicious!   Maybe EE or maybe ppi but not anyone I want to speak with!

Harassing phone calls. Like many above this is why I left Scottish power but sadly they won't leave me alone for a debt that doesn't exist. I've blocked the number and advise you all to do the same. Frankly you're as well ripping up the letters they send too since more often than not they're wrong.

One such occasion - they sent me a prepayment card - for a flat I'd left 3 months previously. Then they sent a bill for £200 - for aforementioned prepayment meter?! Then suddenly sent a cheque for £200 - that they owed me for the meter? This is just one flat's problems I have so many more stories.

The singularly most useless company I have ever had the displeasure of encountering. With ovo now. If I had to move and the new flat was served by Scottish power I would choose another flat if only to avoid the changeover period with them. That's how bad a company they are.

Woman who called said she was from Scottish Power.  I asked why she was calling and she said she couldn't tell me till I'd given her security details.  An unknown number asking for my details?  I hung up.
