Had a call from affinian claiming to be connected with fraud provention.  Will get certain numbers barred as this is becoming a pain.

As an ex affinion employee i can safely say this isnt one of our internal numbers (ours start with 02392)

What this could be is GE Capitals sales team as we had alot of our products sold through "Partner Marketing".

The product they are offering is somthing called privacy guard. Don't buy it from them if you want the best deal. if you look on the lloyds tsb website or privacyguard.co.uk you can try it out for £1 (and sometimes you can get offers for free petrol or an mp3 player if you play your cards right and call them)

It's a Customer Care call from Affinion International. Not a cold call, your details were passed on by your card provider, more than likely Santander which Debenhams/ Edge/ Wallis/ Evans cards are provided by. You should pick a bone with Santander, because I can guarantee somewhere on your monthly statement lies Santanders logo/name. I know this, I work on the inside.
