- keithi have had them on my back too for last few month both home and mobile. most times they just hang up when u answer. on one occasion some one spoke and were offing accident injury compensation. I cna only assume they have my drtails from 3rd party as I had a motor bike accident last January

- TDHI had a call from an ambulance chasing company about 1 month ago following a motor cycle accident nearly 2 years ago. I told them I wasn't interested and did not accept unsolicited calls. Since then this number has repeatedly called and pestered me and when I've answered the call there is nobody on the other end. I now know that the calls a generated by an automatic dialler system. Following the above advice on this thread (thank you) I emailed them & informed them that I'd be invoicing there company Chameleon Telesales Ltd for my time if they wasted any more of it & that if my invoice remained unpaid then I'd pursue them through the small claims courts.
A reply came back within a few minutes & is copied below.
These companies are a menace and should be shut down & outlawed!

I have told (when the answer) not to bother calling but they still carry on. Really lost my rag wiv em 2day so hopefully they will now stop!!! if not...im thinking of going to police ref harassment its that bad!

Good Luck - daveI have been called on a daily basis (honestly, every day without fail, sometimes 2-3 times) for weeks now from these people. I haven't answered the call because I know who they are, and I don't want anything that they have to offer. I'm going to see how long they keep calling me for until they work out that I'm not going to answer; I suspect that this will continue for months to come!
Sure I could just answer it, but I'd rather waste their time the way they're trying to waste mine! - MBSeems to tie in with the other various comments. Have ignored previous calls but answered today and girl seemed to forget who she was calling on behalf of and was asking about receipt of text for free insurance period. Last time I'll use any of the online Insurance comparison web sites. Added the number to the reject list on my mobile.
- MikeJust had these idiots calling me saying they were calling on behalf of Bike Insurer. The bloke said that I was owed some money in regards to an accident I had a couple of years ago - completely made up as I've never had a single accident on my bike. Immediately told him I was aware of their tactics and that I had read about them here, and that I would now be putting the phone down and would they not call me again.

- JonGet called about 3 times a day every day by these people. unfortunately i never get the chance to tell them to stop calling because it ALWAYS hangs up. I thought there were laws now about the percentage of dropped calls these companies are allowed.
Going to report them to OfCOM anyway - KevI had a bike insurance claim in Oct 2008... These guys kept calling.
I ignored their calls and they went away.
Had another bike stolen in Dec 2009, which went through insurance...all closed.. but these buggers have woken up again... I have less patience this time and have sent them the following....
I'll post up their reply! :)

- Pete replies to SolutionJust had a call from these people; as I don't know anyone who lives in that phone code area, I cheerfully ignored it and have taken advice found on this website as to who to contact. I've also told them that I want to know which company passed them my telephone number, as they're next on my naughty list.
- Jednorm replies to Solution| 1 replyStop with the nuisance phone calls, you just don't get the message do you ! If I don't pick up after 20 attempts it means I really do not want to speak to telesales acting on behalf of Bike Insurer .
- John replies to Jednormemailed the following and had a reply within 15 minutes, that was 2 days ago and have'nt had a call since. however my brother in law told be last night that he has used them in the past and got a few grand from the insurance company, so they can't be that bad.
- CraigI have now been called everyday this week by these people only for it never to connect! I don't want them to ever call me in the first place, but this tactic of continuous dropped calls is pathetic.
They can say what they like on this forum, but I would say this is clearly phone spam
