I have just had a call from this number. They left a message, and the company is NFU Mutual, which is an insurance company.

I was involved in a car accident and this number rang me saying it was NFU (National Farmers Union) legal team. It was the insurers of the Landrover owner that crashed into me

I did not think they were allowed to communicate with you directly, but were expected to do so only through your own Insurer.    Might be worth making your own Insurer aware of that.

It is the RAC. I've broken down and I'm waiting on someone to come and help. It's the call centre to say someone is on their way.

Definately not the RAC. Those claiming it is are liars. The RAC dont call out on this number, I know as I work for them

It is the RAC, so safe to answer.  If you have a breakdown, say a home start, or even roadside recovery, RAC will call to confirm arrival time of engineer.  This is what the call is about, so not a nuisance call

I constantly keep getting calls from this number. I just don't answer it.

It is the RAC. However, not necessarily breakdown. I receive calls from this number in regard to a job application I submitted. So, the supposed RAC worker above, clearly hasn't done any research.

Got a call from this number in March 2017, saying they were from VODAFONE BUSINESS AT DIAL DIRECT. Scam artists. Check with Vodafone and they have no alliance or know of these people

It is RAC, I broke down and guy wanted to change time RAC Mech. would be at me. But told him to leave it at original booked time.
He said they were very busy but mech would be with me at the same time I was given earlier. So answer is in my view The RAC Breakdown company

Irregular procedural number declaring itself  as RAC in latest of series of breakdowns.

Just rang RAC to make a change to my breakdown cover, all sorted, received a confirmation email. A minute after I put the phone down I got 3 calls from this number in the space of 5 minutes
